I think it was done in purpose, like a variation on the theme of the Moonlight Sonata. The film take place about 1800, juste the same epoque as when the piece was composed ^^

Audrey J I think the only reason he was about to die for Emily was because he heard Victoria was getting married to someone else.
I think he was shocked he was getting married to a corpse and he didn't want to marry a pile of bones that wasn't living so he tried to get away like any normal person so I think he deserved to be with her but he was just a little shook and should have taken time to think about what was happening in the situation.

@@skooptywooop1030 They meant it on a more philosophical note, by the means of yes you can physically touch a piano therefore meaning you have "touched" music. But the difference is when music touches you more deeply than just simply placing your finger down on a piano key.
I remember playing this and my drama teacher asked if i was ok because i had a tear in my eye because this song was such a pain in the ass to learn

Emily loved Victor out of grief. It was genuine affection, yes, but built from desperation and a desire for closure. In the end, it would never really be enough for either of them.
I think Victor likes Emily. Genuinely, he liked her. She was exceedingly different from everyone else he’d ever met-she was COLOR in a Tim Burton movie, which is how you know she’s one-of-a-kind. But she was also a literal corpse, and one who dragged him into “marriage” in the first place. But I think that she was mostly just,,,, an escape. Unsustainable. Their relationship would have eventually decomposed.

If anyone picked up from the movie that Victor and Emily should have ended up together, or that Victor loved Emily more than Victoria, then they should watch the movie again.
Java Script no hate but honestly it is an opinion, from my point of view the viewer sees the relationship of victor and Emily grow and get stronger as time goes on, so as a result they feel an attachment towards the two, unlike Victoria and Victor. (Just my opinion)

I was actually happy that Victor ended up with Victoria... Don't get me wrong, Emily is a selfless character, but if Victor didn't end up being with Victoria I would've been mad.
Elaine L facts. For some reason I really like Victoria lol. She wasn’t jus some preppy dumb nice girl, she escaped her parents house by jumping out a huge terrace and went to the church and stuff.

The very beginning sounds like a sad and scary Carol of the Bells (or another piece, I can't tell right now) and the few seconds after it sounds almost exactly like Fantaisie Impromptu by Chopin with a gentle touch of Moonlight Sonata... AMAZING!
I got super confused on the duet cover tutorial, should have played corpse brides solo then victors solo because that's so many colors lmao but I still love it
