I have a fascination for bridges! It's kind of a love hate situation 😄 I love looking at them. Driving over some of them; not so much!

Would have liked to have seen the West Bank view of this, how it cuts right through a neighborhood.
That gap between the bridge lanes is scary
If this was a toll bridge it would be built by now.

What was wrong with the "old" bridge? It's certainly more beautiful. Modern architecture really sucks.
In order to bring bigger ships in the bridge needed to be higher, and the old bridge is constantly needing maintenance… at least that’s the story us citizens were told
Corpus christi,the city of never ending street repairs😄😄 this bridge is not an exeption
All that nicely exposed re bar to the salty air is genius ....this bridge will be a disaster waiting to happen...
Just wait till one of those oil-tanks next to the 'new' bridge catches fire - that new bridge will 'snap' like popcorn!
