I really enjoy and appreciate the format of these videos. Deep diving into the common neutral moves of characters while giving us all the options that play out either as punishes or trades is extremely helpful. Almost at diamond IV thanks to everything!
I try to build something visually for every kind of rank too so a silver can feel like "I can do the sweep at least every time to punish which is good for me" and just to give options outside of the analysis. Stronger players will find even more ways to deal with these but I give a few examples. I appreciate you comment frequently on this channel. It helps out to be motivated to keep going. Hi there! Big fan of your channel!, Would you or anyone in the community happen to have hints and tips on corner defense or just any effective strats on getting out? I find myself constantly trapped in the corner around 50% of the time in my matches. Would love to see a video about this or if anyone can direct me to a video if its already covered would be greatly appreciated ! This community is awesome :)
Hi there and thank you for reaching out! its a tough spot to be in and best thing is to not get there at all but thats easier said than done. I have a good analysis video of Higuchi vs tokido in 2x speed ruclips.net/video/deH4qQgeS4M/видео.html where Higuchi Guile is able to keep Tokido in check mid screen for the majority of time. This might give you an idea. This is the video on normal speed: ruclips.net/video/24DPNXmKlx8/видео.html When we are in the corner or even midscreen I highly suggest my 3 layers of defence guide ruclips.net/video/Sye7I2pXQKs/видео.html to understand how we can stop them early from getting in on us and what we need to think of when they are in on us. ONCE they are in I highly suggest to practice delay tech too, ruclips.net/video/bvPM3i2NNwA/видео.html to become even harder to open up. If we are strong in 3 layers of defence and delay tech we can start focusing more on where our opponents have their holes and where we can try to get out. other than that, just try to not give away free space mid screen, stay your ground, control the position between you and your opponent, try walking behind sonic booms if its possible to get space back.
