Syn, you may not have to rebuild your base entirely to have an underwater entrance. You can build a ladder shaft onto an existing room or hallway that will allow you to add another floor onto your base. If you choose to go this route, just build another room that isn't directly on top of your foundation so the ladder shaft has room to go down. You can also build a moon pool that will let you dock your Seamoth directly to your base and serve as another entrance. Thanks for your uploads! Looking forward to the next one.
good job Syn, yeah having the rebreather is better than the rad suit for going deeper, so when you below 100m your oxygen lasts longer, the radiation just restricts you, kind of, from going deeper. But also the parts of the map effected you don't need the rad suit anymore
