i feel every game we give darwin a chance we loose market value on him, seems like he needs a mental reset, more than more chances in the team. I'm for selling him in the summer or if a decent bid comes in this month. would rather give chances to the players like Chiesa, Morton (if fit), Nyoni, Danns, Elliot, and perhaps even Rio for some minutes. Yes, Darwin is more than capeable against league two opposition, but feels like it's become a sunk cost scenario here unfortuanely
Very questionable coaching happening in the last 2 games. Do we have new build-up and attacking instructions or are the players doing weird stuff? Concerning that we are sloppy 2 games in a row.
he still has alot of credit in the bank after his start at lfc, but yeah.. some questionable decisions keeping players that clearly wasn't up to standard on the pitch. Jones looked like he needed a rest vs united, and no suprise it looked the same vs spurs. Wish we could have seen a more reactive and proactive move from the coach. Elliot has proven many times that he is up for a fight. Giving chances to Darwin, while Chiesa is on the bench dying to get the oppurtunity to prove himself etc. Should have hooked Trent early vs united, but one can excuse that because bradley was just back from a hamstring injury
The fa cup is a waste of time, just play the kids and the accademy players, we got forest on tuesday and brentford on saturday both away so save the energies for the premier league
