I think the Bond we connect most with is the one we grew up watching for me that was Roger Moore ... The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker ... In that order. Jaws, the tech gadgets, the plot ...
Marvelous review Mr Smith , Sean Connery gets my vote for the total package of Bond, however even he pales somewhat when it comes to your gentlemanly elegance poise and ethics. Have a wonderful day Mr Bond . 🙏👍👌🏻
10cc 👌👌👌👌 im 55 and grew up loving that track and still play it often today , im also a massive bond fan and that short movie was absolutely amazing Lanier , but the best part was listening to a true gentleman review a fine refined fragrance , thank you my friend for a masterpiece of a review ,
Lanier, what weather or occasion do you recommend this fragrance? Personally I like " From Russia With Love". Daniella Bianchi is such a beautiful woman. Parts of it don't hold up on re- viewing but some orher parts do. The fight in the train compartment for example still looks very real after decades. And Istanbul is stunning !
A lovely take Lanier! I was just wearing Special 127 this evening for that dandy vibe so this review is in great company. 😉 Still need to sniff this one myself.
I have Floris No. 007. To me, it's a modernized No. 89. I made an immediate DNA connection to Floris No. 89. And that would make some sense, right? It seems as if the intent was to modernize the No. 89 scent profile, which again makes sense since the James Bond connection was made with No. 89 due to Ian Fleming's fondness for that fragrance. It seems the dry-as-gin mid-century classic English Gentleman's Cologne that is No. 89 had its sharp, dry, cutting DNA softened and sweetened, and vintage musk replaced with the modern white musk. Lanier, you gotta get your nose on Floris Elite. Its my favorite Floris. Released in 1979/80, its like a beautiful hybrid of Creed Bois du Portugal and a little Polo Green.
Mr. Smith! Hello & thanks for sharing. As a fan of many 007 movies I'd like to see what this fragrance smells like. I've been a subscriber to your channel for yrs & I recall 1 other frag you reviewed that was James bond inspired. 1.*VESPER By Mik Moi! I have a 100ML that he sent to me yrs back & it is a great fall scent As for favorite Bond films. They are 1.From Russia with Love 2. You only live twice 3. Casino Royal 4. Specter ---------------------------------------------------- * Another OO7 inspired frag was done by Italian fashion brand Brioni in a 75 ML . Fantastic👍 Thanks again & keep smelling fragrant. A2
From the side of action and aesthetics, these films are worth it, but as far as some artistic quality and intelligence are concerned, they do not deserve more attention, Mr. Smith.
There's only one Bond... Sir Roger Moore. Even his name is perfect. 🤣. I do really enjoy Floris stuff, but I let this one pass. I think I tried to get a sample but they dont really send them out for limited editions. I cant remember exactly. Used to be one of my favourite reasons to go into London, and specifically Jermyn st. Shame that it's a completely different city these days. Top video.
Something real comforting watching you start a review with that shaker. Takes me back a decade. ❤
Always a pleasure young man... I stop what I'm doing when i see you upload. Cheers 🥂.... Oh and Sean Connery gets my vote. ✌🏻🙏🏻
Ditto to all the above. I get so over the top when I see you again!!!

Connery was my favorite Bond...Craig is a very close second.
The Connery era of films went hand in hand with John Barry's iconic theme tunes a marriage made in heaven.
I love Goldfinger. Great review as always. Greetings from Ecuador, where fragrance is very, very expensive.
Good to see you again

Fall and Winter are the best in my opinion for No. 007. I agree with you on "From Russia With Love." One of my favorite Sean Connery Bond films.
Love your channel. So classy! 🍸❤️
