Great video Josh,well done.I’ve had the wireless quad lock charger for 2 years now, love it.
To save a little money you could buy the cable that installs directly to your bike inside where the headlight cover.
Plug and play OEM and would only power your wireless charger when powering the bike (never dead battery).

Thank you. I already had my USB charger plugged into the accessory plug behind the headlight. I considered splicing it in but didn’t want to overload the accessory outlet.

Yea got one on mine just did a tour with it found the yamaha USB don't give it as much power as what it could use so.maybe changing this in the future great video pal

Nice video and just in time as im going to Install the same setup. How’s that usb port holding up? I ordered the same one and it wasn’t supplying any power so I opted for a replacement.
Haven’t had any issues with my USB yet. But of course sometimes electronics are hit or miss.

I accidently bought the 12-24v charging head instead of the usb one. Dont know if i should try to sell it and go for the usb one or just hardwire it.
Where did you buy it from? Maybe try and return it for the proper product.
My only concern would be is it’s always on. So if you hard wire it, it could drain your battery.
If you get the USB version you can add the smart adapter. It has 3 settings. On, off, and auto. When in the auto position. It turns the charging head off when you battery lowers to 12.5v. This way you do not drain your battery.
@@haneymoto There was this store that had a clearance sale going on and it was 20 bucks, i sold it now tho and got the usb one with the smart switch.
Couple of times I've put the quadlock in my cart and they always have something not in stock that will delay my order otherwise I'd have one. Have you used the phone on that as a rear self facing camera? Would be nice to not need to buy another camera.
You could certainly angle it that way. I’ve only taken a few selfies since I have an Insta360.
