Distria Krasniqi of Kosovo took gold at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. She became European Champion of 2021 in Lisbon. She took European bronze in 2020. She claimed bronze at the 2019 World Championships U48kg. She was World Junior Champion for Kosova U52kg. Krasniqi won bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2017, silver in 2019 and gold in 2020. Krasniqi won the World Masters in 2018 and 2019 in Guangzhou and Qingdao. She won the World Masters in Doha in 2021. Distria started 2022 well with gold in Portugal and silver in Paris as well a gold medal at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi in 2022.

Judoka from Japan Abe Uta became Olympic Champion at Tokyo 2020. She was World Champion in 2018 at the same day as her brother Hifumi Abe like the 2020 Olympics. In 2019 she prolonged the world title in Tokyo. Abe was already Junior World Champion in 2017. She won the Grand Slam of Paris in 2018. She took gold at the Grand Slam Osaka in 2018. In 2017 she won in Düsseldorf in 2020 and 2017 as youngest ever winner of a IJF World Tour event. She won the World Junior Mixed Team Championships in 2017. World Mixed team gold in Tokyo in 2019. She won the Grand Slams in Tashkent and Kazan in 2021.
