I wish that bodyguard that sweetly carried the kids never left Chris. Thank goodness his music will live forever. Chris gave us so much, I truly hope he is soaring free. Troubadour of our times.
This show was so so amazing. I was the one who requested Wide Awake with a sign and he thanked me for bringing the sign and I cried like a baby all the way through the song. I grew up in Southern Mississippi and was devastated by Hurricane Katrina even though I wasn't living there at the time but my mom was and lost her home. Chris helped me through my depression and PTSD afterwards, especially with this song and with this tour in 2007. He was so kind and cared about people so much. I always thought about him saying that Tom Morello said that the song was the most political song they wrote when in fact it was Chris who wrote it, not Tom. If you read between the lines, you'll see that some people around Chris had agendas that were not pure and honest like his were. So sad he's gone, miss him so much. Four years gone next week. It seems like an eternity and things have gone to shit in this world since he left, even more than they were before. One day we will hear his voice again.

Chris seems comfortable doing this show I believe mainly because "Original Fire"was part of his happiness from Audioslave..Also singing new material in Washington has to be good for the soul after being away for so long.Transitioning into Soundgarden is smooth and effortless. After all he is singing his own songs, right!This was a different gig and "sure do not mind a change".
I’m eternally grateful that this man existed in the world and gave us such treasured music. I miss you Chris Cornell and I hope you’re at peace

Chris is now immortalized through videos and the music, one of the best voices in rock history, he will be deeply missed, but the focus in on his children and family now, prayers to all of them in moving forward, I hope his kids stay clear of addictions

@@justuseubank9192 Yes, unfortunately. His bodyguard killed him. One major clue was that Chris had 9 broken ribs!!!!! (You have 20 ribs in the front) so they "supposedly" broke half of his ribs while giving Chris CPR??? A rib or two may break on an elderly person or a small child, but not on a 52 year old healthy man that worked out daily. I have a LOT more info that will have you wondering how the police didn't see so many HUGE clues as to it NOT being a suicide!! It's been 5 years now, but it still bothers me. Chris was such a gentle soul. :(
