I have a feeling Raiola will have the career Taylor and Adrian martinez shouldve had. Both super talented but ruined by coaching. Cant wait to see what he can do under pressure, and husker fans better not jump down his throat when he makes freshman mistakes
Agree and I think Matt Rhule is a better coach than Pelini and I know he’s better than Frost. Also Raiola has the most arm talent of any QB Nebraska has ever had. If he stays for 3 years he will break every passing record in Lincoln.

I am with you on that. I think he is the real deal.
His composure was amazing to watch. Didn't get happy feet in the pocket. His throws were crisp and accurate. His incompletions were smart throws allowing the receiver to work for the catch with the defenders out of reach. I'm old enough to know the trap of anointing the second coming, but if we can build around him effectively who knows what heights this team can attain. Us Husker fans are due.

I never seen a nebraska quarterback get praised so much on his throwing. This how I know we have a first team freshmen all American
Thanks for the analysis. As a Husker alumni and fan for life I haven't seen talent like this in the QB room in quite some time. Not saying we didn't have talented QBs or anything but this feels different. Mechanics are there and just need to be polished and cleaned up. That happens with time and proper coaching which we have and with Dylan it feels like he's a coachable player. Excited for the future but with caution of course.

Dylan Raiola physical traits, size, arm strength is more Patrick Mahomes than Caleb Williams,. The way he plants his foot, make angel throws, strong arm, tight hips, incredible composure and pocket mobility are more similar to Mahomes whereas Caleb skillset is more like Kyler Murray and Russel Wilson.

Lol, HH had just as many TDs, had a couple of great runs for 1st downs and didn't throw a pick in the red zone. Yes he's good but he's not Superman, hasn't got smacked by a Big Ten linebacker either.
Raiola threw 9 more passes and had 8 more completions. He's a better QB, and it's not even close. What good is running when it gets every QB injured? It's not sustainable, nor is it necessary.
Idk how he could be best on the field when he threw an INT and the other QB didn’t.
