Awesome! This also comes up on the GRE and GMAT, which I tutor.
More coming on probability - trees, lists, product and addition rules. Hope they help!
Thank you for posting, seeing the video right now🙏
Hi, Tecmath. I have been watching your videos for years, and they are so helpful. Your videos, explain things in an easy and simple way. Please, continue to make more videos. Thank you!
Thank you very much. This video helped me understand the concept and everything I need to solve basic probability problems. Appreciate it.
I've had years of math, yet know nothing about probability. I needed this!
This is fantastic. Well done. I can tell you like teaching math and that makes a big difference. These videos make math enjoyable and fun to learn. And relaxing.
Thank you so much! I enjoyed watching it!! 🩷
Wow tecmath, your amazing! I love how you teach.you make math, so easy. your the best thanks so much
Brilliantaly explained 👍👍👍
Thank you so much for this! Looking forward to more probability vids❤
Your videos are getting better.
Thanks. Hopefully more frequent too!
@@tecmath yeah I would love the frequency to go a little higher. Just a suggestion, maybe you could post some content related to some global math exams. That might also increase the number of people who view it regularly and would be a more targeted market for you. You are probably the best math teacher I ever had. Would love to see your videos being more targeted to preparation of of gre /GMAT quant, etc.
Thanks for the suggestion.

You really make math so understandable to me.
I have never liked math.
And now I can't seem to get enough of it..
Thanks!!!!
I will definitely recommend your channel to anyone that is having a hard time with math..
👍
Wait has finally come to an end.
What is the probability scale ⚖
Probability is the likelihood or chance of an event occurring. For example, the probability of flipping a coin and it being heads is ½, because there is 1 way of getting a head and the total number of possible outcomes is 2 (a head or tail)
The probability of an impossible event is 0 and the probability of a certain event is 1. The range of possible probabilities is: 0 ≤ P ( A ) ≤ 1 . It is not possible to have a probability less than 0 or greater than 1.The probability scale
Maths uses numbers to describe probabilities. Probabilities can be written as fractions, decimals or percentages. You can also use a probability scale, starting at. (impossible) and ending at (certain).
Hello sir and thanks
Well that was really good teaching, ^oo^
More videos pleasssssssse
I love music but I also love maths

I have enjoyed your videos for ages.
But.
The probability of me buying a t-shirt is 0/21.45 :-)
Bit too uncool for you?
Thanks for watching!
@@tecmath :-) No. I just can't afford one!
Thanks for the feedback. I have just contacted teespring and had negotiated better prices!
@@tecmath hi sir
Thanks for making this video as a teacher it's hard to explain this because the student dint understand this this has been a concern to me so I decided to tell the student to watch this amazing video the next day all the student came and never got the questions wrong thanks for making this video I really appreciate it this actually make teaching easier for me and other teachers which are struggling I don't know what am I gonna do without you

I Love this Guy he explains this much easier then my teacher
And also i hit THE like botten so Hard My fingers broke
I smashed it too! Great work!
Hello tecmath! I just wanted to say thanks for helping with the math videos. Hopefully you do post more videos of probability because I need them for high-school. Thanks.
More coming! Thanks for watching
did it work out for you?
@@tecmath thanks
It's so simple and easy, thank you so much❤️
Hey Mr. Tecmath, it's been a long long time since I seen your videos. Sure have missed then!!! I hope all is well and great for you. Looking forward to see more video's on a regular basis if possible. 👍👍👍👍👍
I get my GCSEs results tomorrow, thanks for helping me with maths throughout
Hope you've done well!
swindle66 thank you, I’m going to get my results now
hot what did you get?
HADYOU I passed all my subjects thanks ! A 5 in maths and I suck at math!! The highest I got was an 8!
@@sunheartmoon good to hear

Tks for makn it understandable
Much thanks for this video!
Needed!!
Thank for teaching me this, even though I needed to practice some question.
Thanks. Got the concept behind probability. Can you please make a part 2 of it where you solve some advance problems of it.
Next few videos will be on probability - :)
your videos are honestly the best! so enjoyable and learning so much! your humour and knowing that you're having fun making these videos for us is really really cool. much appreciated! just found your channel and wish i've known about it in high school and even earlier tbh. but oh well, glad to be here now. your mental math trick videos were so so good. Thank you!! and i'm really glad you're still making videos to this day. love it! underrated channel indeed. making maths enjoyable is such a beautiful gift! there is a unique confident boost to getting good at maths. your pace is just perfect (hehe can you tell i'm thrilled to have fun in maths again? lol)
Thank you! I make videos just for that reason! Much appreciated :)
Thank you.
A great way to start relearning this type of math. 55 and just started my walk towards a BSN.

Is Y not a vowel in the English language?
PotatoTornado - “Used as a vowel in some words”? So are you saying the letter y is defined a consonant in other words? This is quite confusing and challenging not the say the least regarding your probability lesson :-) In my language a letter is only either a vowel or a consonant.
@@skemsen You have to look at the languages that influenced the development of the English Language. For example, in written archaic English the phrase "Ye Olde Tea Shoppe" is in modern written English is "The Old Tea Shop." Now the archaic phrase has "Ye" for the word "The". In this, the letter Y is a consonant, as "Ye" is pronounced "Yee". Why? The way scribes borrowed the letter Thorn (th) from Old English to use as an abbreviation for the th sound in scribal Early Modern English. As the letter Thorn looked very similar to the letter Y, people began to say "Ye" instead of "The". Also, there are words in modern English that use the letter Y as only a consonant. As in "yard", "you", and "yet". But Y can be used as a vowel as in "pry", "sty", "say", and "synthetic". Finally, here's a term from Astronomy that would earm you a ton of points in Scrabble - Syzygy. From the Oxford English Dictionary: "
syzygy /ˈsɪzɪdʒi /
▸ noun
(plural syzygies)
1 Astronomy a conjunction or opposition, especially of the moon with the sun:
the planets were aligned in syzygy.
2 a pair of connected or corresponding things.
- ORIGIN early 17th century : via late Latin from Greek suzugia, from suzugos ‘yoked, paired’, from sun- ‘with, together’ + the stem of zeugnunai ‘to yoke’."
English is a mongrel tongue, whose idiosyncrasies reflect multiple influences on its development. The Oxford Concise English Dictionary is really good in tracking down these influences. I had my own copy when I was a child, and I loved not only looking up words, but looking at the lists in the appendices like the Greek alphabet that filled out the story of English as a language.
BigHenFor - Thank you very much for that explanation with the added scrabble tip :-)
I love that this is the main discussion from this video!
My 2 cents...y can act as both as a vowel and as a consonant. In this case in the word probability it makes the vowel ee sound, hence I’ll say you make a valid point!
tecmath - Yeah, what is the “probability” of that happening? ;-)
ayo, why he kinda sound like code bullet if he were more chill?

Hello, regarding the probability factors in the 'coin toss' heads/tails, would it be correct to consider the 3rd. possibility of the coin resting on the edge? Please understand that this is in no way a criticism of this great channel and just a thought that 'Chaos Theory' can come into play here also. Thank you.
I'm a 4th grader who's 2 grades ahead of my grade, at Year 7. I find that you're very good at math. I really want to learn probabilities because they sound interesting.
I really need techmath to reply. Can u simplify the probabilities. E.g. 2/4, can we simplify this to 1/2. Please reply to this because I need it for an upcoming test. Thanks
Wow , this session is very helpful for Indian Airforce exams.minimum 1 question asked in exam related to this chapter.

You have a better chance of the die landing on one of eight sides!
