Yes! And he's super underrated and under appreciated. He's wrote a lot of hits. A lot of people don't realize he wrote hits like Beyonce - Irreplaceable, and Rihanna - Umbrella you can hear his style in those songs. Yet no one acknowledges Ne Yo as one of the GOATS and it's sad tbh.

Loved this. Remember when this came out--it was a huge hit. Very relatable. I feel like this is probably set in Northern Europe, or somewhere in the Alps. I think the coldness, loneliness, isolation, etc. was the perfect setting for the song's tone and message.

When I first heard this way back when I was not a fan but my local radio station played it to death and it grew on me. I then bought the CD which was the absolute bomb from start to finish and this is now one of my favorites of his.

When I first heard this song I was a senior in high school, 2006. I heard it on the radio and didn't know who sang this song, but I literally would wait until 9pm when the radio station would have their top 10 songs of the day and just wait until this song came on. I bought his album just for this song. (The whole album is fire btw)
You should watch Neyo and Jamie Foxx with “She got her own”. All of his songs have great lyrics (written by him). 😃 He has a good one with Rihanna too. And oh yeah, a really really good one with Jennifer Hudson!!!
Ne Yo was a great songwriter he wrote a lot of songs for a lot of artists back in the days some of the most popular songs were written by Ne Yo. Then he decided to start singing and he should have kept a lot of the songs he made because he is a better singer than most R & B singers from back then.
I love NeYo! Every Single One Of His Songs Have A Story! That’s why I live him so much, his voice is amazing but his lyrics are next level 💕🙌🏽 if you like this, you should hear his other songs.
