Everybody thinks that Apopka is the holy grail and it is far from it. At times it can be hot like any of the lakes but it is not consistent. I have fished them since 1986 but have lost interest in the past few years. Fish one every once in a while for fun. I only live an hour away. If you ever want to fish the Harris Chain let me know, we will at least have an enjoyable day!
