In regards to the first question, have you tried doing that with a singular lift within a block? Say an athletes (squat/bench/deadlift) doesn't seem to recover well but the other two are responding well to regular programming, have you ever tried just taking out the assistance lifts for the X lift and focusing more on supplement work?
Mike Assuming all other variables are accounted for and recovery is ok for supplementary and developmental work ; Based on you data would you say a majority of lifters could handle say a 2xF on 2 sessions where comp squat is 1@8,5@9LD5% And deadlift 1@8, 3x5@75% (7-8rpe) I’m just wondering do you feel the 1@8 would be too much to handle for the 4 lifts a week for a majority of lifters . Or would you feel this would be a decent starting point for intermediate to advanced lifters ? In my opinion it’s not a whole lot of work and if I can recover from it , and ROG is good stick with it . 1@8 is not that fatiguing for me personally , but I have no where near the amount of lifter data that you have so would be interesting to hear your thoughts
x1 @8 work isn't all that taxing. There's nothing specially taxing about it beyond other similar intensities. You typically can't just add in extra sets on top of everything else, but as long as you're not doing that it shouldn't be a problem.
I enjoy and learn a lot from this channel. Thanks Mike and RTS crew!
Thank you!

robbyybt yes, that has been a very successful approach for a handful of our lifters.
