- Towpath Trail goes along the Miami & Erie Canal on one side of trial and the Maumee River on the other side of the trail. Got to see the Isaac Ludwig Mill, the Canal Boat being pulled by horses and the Providence Dam.
I love the fact that being on a trike lets you cruise by places and people slowly without feeling like you're gonna tip over. This was a beautiful ride!
Wider tires, like some Schwalbe Big Apple or Big Ben with a lower tire pressure sure does make a difference when riding on a bumpy trail with a trike.
My wife and I went to the local lake for the Independence Day fireworks. It was like riding our own lawn chairs to and from the event. Then when it was over, and we were leaving, we just slowly cruised along with the crowd of pedestrians on the way out! Far faster than getting stuck in the line of cars waiting to leave the parking lot!
Yeah, mostly avoid Stone trails. Did not know it was Stone but I could see how it would be great to take it to the fireworks if you were in a position to do so yeah we have no fireworks near us. And I usually can't keep my eyes open that late. I get up at 3:00 a.m. The wife has to see him on her own. Have a great day and ride on!
5:02 Good to see you back again, the trail looks a bit thin in places. We also don't like gravel trails much!
Thanks hope to get some more posted life has been ruff lately I lost two family members in two weeks and a lot going on.
@OhioBikeRider I know that feeling, we had the same situation a few months ago! My Mom and one of my younger brothers! Hopefully your lives will settle soon!
