Now that is a proper high end kit wow - Kyosho is not farting around! Amazing how it looks both vintage and modern at the same time. Great show Richard, merry Christmas sir 👍👍
@@lo2713 I liked your plug about running them. I don’t run mine often but they do get run. I just built a Turbo Optima but turned it into a Javelin with a white cage.
Very nice indeed! I think the price is justified considering what you get👍😀 Looking forward to see some running footage of it!👍have a Merry christmas!🎄🎄
I really like your videos. They are no nonsense and very informative and you share all, hoping to benefit others. Very commendable indeed. I doubt you are one to reply to comments as you are very busy, building, racing, and then doing videos but I'd like to know if you have time... Do you prefer racing on dirt or carpet? How does the Optima Mid in your view compare to say a Schumacher Procat for building, racing, working on, and repairing? And have you ever tried a modern buggy like an Xray XB4? I'm always tempted to buy one second hand. Always fascinated by design and how even the drive cups and shafts seem almost oversized in comparison to a vintage buggy design. I get how people think they lack character but I can see the appeal for racers like yourself. Thank you so much for a great channel.
Thank you for the kind words, i prefers offroad, astro and grass. But in winter there’s very little choice but to go carpet. But its not off road, its flat and has a few jumps, you could a touring car on then. Building, the kyosho mid was easyer than the procat. But the cougar was an easyer build to the ultima. Racing, well i love the ultima, it seems easy to drive, but time will tell when head outdoors. Funny you should mention the XB4, i have the 2024 kit ready to unbox and build, sadly its not mine. I build my mates cars as he’s far to busy 😂
The gens ace ones i have was scrapping the sticker off, they are 6000mah mind 🤔 but they fit a treat with the koswork plates, and the velcro dont cover the battery points either 👍
Magnificent build. JC wheels on it make it sizzle, that's a crackin good move. Hyped to see how she turns out.
Same here, not long till she gets her maiden voyage 😎

A basic 5200mah hard pack 2S fits these really well and secure

@@lo2713 probably same with and height but the higher mah is a bit longer. I don’t use the bullets but that is probably a great idea
Great build. What size LiPo do you use?
Im running the full fat shorty lipo’s, but with the lightning components kit you can run ulcg lipo aswell 👍
you think a Hobbywing 555 brushed will fit?
Not sure to be honest ? If it fits other 1/10 then it should, but dont hold me to that 👍
