      Thumbs up for the ideal idea building the she'd. Yassots you all needed it to store away stuff!!! I do hope it's gonna be big enough!!!! Be "mindful" in how you shopping for the future, you don't want to end of wasting money and too much unnecessary stuff aground.!!! From experienced, it can eventually caused frustration, anxiety and regrets.. I think you used "64" screws in the beginning of the frame!!!!!!!!

  • @LHarris3000
    @LHarris3000 2 года назад +46

    Since you want it to be level and STAY level, I think you should use sand underneath your paver stones as if you were about to create a patio, but build your shed on top of that. You would put down the sand and tamp it down and it would be level for a long time. Then put the pavers on top of that instead of sitting it right on top of the dirt because the dirt will settle and move with the water grading as the seasons change

    • @jmorla9076
      @jmorla9076 2 года назад +17

      I agree with this comment. Also you should add wood in the middle to prevent the floor from sagging

    • @YoungLadyBusiness
      @YoungLadyBusiness  2 года назад +3

      Ooooo!!!! I’m afraid it’s too late now 🫠🫠🫠 such a good idea though. I didn’t come by that in our research but we did read about putting gravel underneath for the same purposes !

    • @maryl9432
      @maryl9432 2 года назад

      Right makes since

    • @LHarris3000
      @LHarris3000 2 года назад +1

      Yes you would do a layer of gravel then a layer of sand making sure to wet and tamp it down just as if you were doing a patio. This may well do just fine if there isn’t too much irrigation and it’s ok to try different options so kudos to you for getting it done! Can’t wait for the final reveal!

    • @E_Static
      @E_Static 2 года назад

      And that pea gravel is going to continue to sink into the soil as time goes along. Using deck post blocks would have been another idea.

    If it were me, I would place a stud and some cider blocks down the middle so it can take the weight of possible stuff you will store. You will not be placing all items around the walls some stuff will be in the middle of the shed. Something to think about before you put up walls. The middle of floor might sag.
