I'm a republican and I'm all in. I watched both conventions. This was so positive and uplifting. I really do think it will be a blue wave for all three branches. I'm hoping they defeat the GOP so bad they will be forced to learn that insulting people is not the way to win.
So happy to have you with us. It must be so demoralizing to see your party hijacked by hate and ignorance. I hope you all can build a real "loyal opposition" so we can all work together, better than ever. Please encourage all your friends to join with us to save democracy and freedom. I have always, always loved this country, even though it seemed at times that the nation didn’t love me.
I have a healthy respect for the words of Christ….
I have been extremely puzzled by my Christian friends and relatives willingness to follow Mr. Trump, and embrace the maga movement.
From my perspective, there has never in my lifetime been a more clear moment to “choose this day whom you will serve”. Never a more obvious example of one of those “false prophets”… a more clearer example of the light verses, the dark.

I was so shocked when she mentioned Israel before Gaza, but I am glad she acknowledges both sides and the associated trauma, but also advocates for a ceasefire. Especially when Trump is out here saying he’d help Israel “get the job done”.
That doesn't necessarily mean that she supports Israel over Gaza.
Both sides have suffered horribly. Hopefully everyone realizes that more fire can’t put out fire.

I wish I could be there! I feel ashamed that I never paid attention until my 30’s. Someone told me “do you realize you’re a woman and other women fought for your right to vote?” I think I voted for Mitt being from MA, I thought he was good as a governor. Throughout my journey in Coast Guard, stationed all across our beautiful country. I want all our beautiful people across our country to have rights. Yes, I’m “woke”. Even my dad who was always republican wouldn’t even vote for trump in ‘16. We are NOT a christian fundamentalist country!!! Maybe focus on the religious cults funding money to heritage foundation funding project 2025. Harris/Walz 💙💙

One of the most telling things of the night for me was that in the melee following her speech, Kamala was looking after the kids on the stage, not hobnobbing with the great and the good. She lives what she preaches.
What a great four days this has been. So much energy, so much joy and celebration, and what a contrast to the miserable, whining, and vengeful RNC.
As a European, I cannot vote, I can't knock on doors, I can't offer to take my neighbours to vote, but I recognise the threat that Trump poses to the whole world order, and I will do what I can to avoid Trump ever gaining power again. Attacking NATO is Putin's job, not the USA's. That is why I engage with Republicans who comment, refuting their lies with facts, because no lie should go unanswered. I've been educating them about economics, politics, and critical thinking. As a European, I'm familiar with what dictators are like. I've met people living under dictators and they were all terrified of saying the wrong thing. I've even met spies of Saddam Hussein, and even they were terrified because they were being spied on too. I've explained to those who think a dictator is a strong leader just what living under a dictator is really like. Dictators are not strong men, they are weak men who use the power of the state to massage their fragile egos. They lock up or kill their opponents because they are too much of a snowflake to take criticism, and too weak to defend their record in open debate.
There's just over two months left before the election, and I'll continue to refute lies and educate the misinformed, and I'll do what I can to support those who can vote, can knock on doors, and can help their neighbours to vote. Trump 1.0 brought disrespect on America and he was a laughing stock outside of America, the whole UN laughed in his face. The world breathed a sigh of relief when Biden won in 2020. Trump 2.0 would be so much worse, we don't want you going back! We want you to fight for your freedom and a stable world order, because when you fight, you win!

Your tireless work to defend and support democracy and justice have raised your profile to where you can reach the President, Cabinet members, Senators and Representatives, and you deserve all the success you get. Since you seem able to achieve anything you set your mind to, I have a challenge: get an interview with Donald Trump. My mom was watching it (night 3) on msnbc last night and I went to a Midas touch live stream because they were only showing about 1/3-1/4 of the speeches. Their interviews weren’t even adding anything compared to the speeches they were skipping

I was excited for Beyoncé maybe showing up, but the more I think about it that would have been a bad idea. A lot of potential voters still feel like they don’t know Kamala Harris that well. The night needed to be about her, and I think a huge, well-known pop star might have stolen the spotlight.
🎯🎯🎯🎯. They can endorse her at another time. But tonight is and should be about Kamala and her plan for the American people. They would have been a distraction.
I think you’re spot on! I was thinking about this, too! I think the smart play would be to have someone like Beyoncé endorse Kamala/Walz in a few weeks, in order to try and keep the enthusiasm and energy of the campaign high. Because the goal of the campaign is going to be to keep the enthusiasm high until Nov. 5th, and there is usually a drop off between the convention and election day.
I don't know about Beyoncé, but I'm sure Taylor Swift is waiting until closer to the election when she'll have more impact on the vote. The people in the DNC are already buzzing, they don't need more stimulants at the moment.
