However, you shouldn't let those toxic comments about Blackpink get to you. We don't know who are the cyberbullies behind those keyboards. They could be an immature kid, a lonely human being, a jealous/jobless person, etc. We shouldn't let those types of ridiculous people get to us. We should only focus on our idols and laugh off those toxic comments because as a true fan, we know for sure those comments aren't true.
As long as Blackpink is still popular/well-known, they will continue to grow more fans, and unfortunately along with more haters. All we can do is continue to support them and disregard those haters. I'm sure Blackpink themselves also do the same. They have been in the industry long enough to know whose comment means good or harm to them. To be honest, I'm more worried when no one talks about our Blackpink at all (either good or bad) because that is when our idols aren't as popular anymore.

The hate and attacking is the problem. Other than that, two things can be true at the same time.
The girls worked their tails off to get where they are. They earned (and deserve) all the success. However, often fame comes with some level of lost objectivity. Everything that a celebrity does is the best thing ever according to their fandom.
As for Lisa. Was her wardrobe "revealing"? Yes. Does she have a provocative image? Yes. Can she do whatever she wants? Also yes. If you like what she's doing watch her, if not then don't. Simple.
I am a blackpink fan. They got me into kpop. Do I like every song/image/decision they make? No. Do I like a lot of their music and often find their looks attractive? Yes.
Everyone can have an opinion. Just keep the public negativity out of it. Stick to the things you like. Be good to each other.

So there are more haters being mean about it and in return Blinks defending her.
And about other idols not being criticised is that may be due to them having other haters, meaning there is a other focus than clothes and also our perception and social media bubble...
Just because we don't see them getting hated, doesn't mean it isn't there.
For example I am a Blink so I follow the news about Blackpink.
But I also like Gidle, but I don't follow them as much, so the algorithm shows me more Blackpink content than Gidle content.

Thank you for this Andrew and thank you for defending them and indirectly defending all kpop groups as they all suffer it. The problem is these so called fans are not fans at all they appear to be organised and planted within kpop groups to cause disharmony and discord within the groups dividing the true fans with misinformation and frankly BS. Sadly until there is something done so that these people can face actual consequences for what they say and more importantly it starts to get enforced. Then this will continue. The various social media platforms have the ability to control it but they instead turn a blind eye to it. It could be very easily stopped and controlled on all platforms. But for some reason they refuse to do anything about it. The only way they will is if the labels not the groups but the labels turn around and demand action is taken against those haters. And, well we already know the labels wont. And there is your problem and issue. No-one will stand up and actually hold these people responsible with fines and or prison if offences are serious enough. It wouldnt take much. Really hammer two or three or four offenders with stiff fines / penalties and not just a tap on the hand and then the word would get out and it would stop or at least drastically lesson. I guess as a user we could force the social media platforms to take action but it would require everyone to be in unison otherwise threaten to leave that platform and well we already know that wont happen....... I wish it would and I wish labels would take a more drastic measure to protect their idols. I can only hope that one day they will wake up and do that...... Until then I can only do my little bit and support the idols that i follow to the best of my ability. Keep safe and well everyone.

The worst and saddest thing about all of it is the fact that a lot of hateful comments are written by solo stans of the Pinks themselves... as if the girls don't get enough hate as it is. People... love one if your heart isn't big for all four, but at least respect them. Don't forget that your fave loves these girls a lot.
I feel like the dynamic is these people aren't even really true fans. They're the type of people where everything in their life is an accessory. Their fandom isn't about the Pinks or the content. It's about the social clout of being a fan of something popular and they can't stand the thought of the member who they saw as the least doing something more than their bias. Andrew, it’s great to see this video supporting and standing up for our girls. Reading through all these documents is painful and frustrating, but it also feels like a reminder that the "company" holds Blackpink as the standard for all their groups, both male and female. It seems they’re creating a delusional narrative to cover their artists' shortcomings while spreading rumors about Blackpink. I really hope this hasn't affected the girls, and I hope YG responds not with just a statement, but by demonstrating why Blackpink is who they are-Queens who truly put K-pop on the world stage.
