    Your video is alright. You go in depth in a lot of things but not necessarily the right things. I would also not define this as a beginner guide.
    I started the game yesterday and in that time I was able to understand a few things but here is what I am looking for in a beginners guide:
    What planets should I upgrade, which resource should I prioritise, which smelt or craft I should prioritise.
    As a beginner up to what point do I sell my first galaxy, for how many times, when do I go for bigger? (you mention 12.5M but why?)
    As a beginner how to I get to your points, how long does it take.
    You mentioned managers but was way to long. Just say you need to look for this and this.
    You talked about how important asteroids were but in later game. so as a beginner what do I do with that information.
    You should that your smelting crafting speeds are really fast but how? is it the manager, the tech, the boost, projects?
    There are good things but I did not watch the whole video because it is too long. 40mins for a guide is to long. it should be between 5-10 mins.
    I suggest you script the video. Also this video has a lot of information about mid game because that is where you are at. I suggest you have a 2nd video about mid game and what one should do. Also script the video because too long to watch. It's my opinion, but overall it is an alright video not bad, but not great either.

    If you want true progression, this game is not at all an idle game. Just depends on the playstyle. Also for managers, it’s better to get quantity > quality in the beginning. I would rather have 15 4* than 5 5*. There are guides in the ipm server that are really helpful if people have any questions. It’s also not just cargo just to emphasize. Best to have the same amount of ship as cargo. Neat video

    I was lurking about here and there and was reading that this game has an "end game" problem.
    Could that be solved by allowing the player more choice in the galaxy sale process?
    Take ore, alloys, items, projects, smelters, and crafters as the example. If the player could choose to keep those things when moving into a new galaxy it could boost them past the early game.
    The value of those things would first be subtracted from the galaxy sale value. Then they'd move to a fresh galaxy with those items.

    Thank you so much for an updated video! I've been playing about a month now and I am really enjoying it. Your last video made me decide to buy some of the ships with real money and i am really enjoying the game. The music is very relaxing too!
    What rooms do you recommend working on first to be able to hit that 13 million mark in a minute and a half? My Underforge and Dorms are maxed. Would you recommend engineering, forge and workshop? Should I get my lounge to 2.0 credits?

    • @GUNDAMTIME

      So, basically the rooms I mention in the video are ones I'd focus on if I were you. And yes, I worked on getting the lounge up to x2 as fast as I could. It's at x2.4 now. I try not to spend too much on upgrading it when there are other rooms that also help.

  • @phuzziwan_kenobi

    lots of good advice here! I've been playing since late May this year, just starting to get solidly into the mid game range.
    I noticed you were trying to hit the X on the manager screen, then going back to the planet to boost it to the 31-16-16. From the manager screen, you can tap the planet to go back to it's upgrade tab.
    I think a video about how you progress through a tournament could be very helpful too. I understand that there would need to be a lot more time devoted to that, probably with some heavy editing - so let that idea percolate a bit. :)

    • @GUNDAMTIME
      @GUNDAMTIME  2 месяца назад

      Yeah, I'd like to do one on tournaments eventually. It's a needed area!
      About clicking out of managers and to the planets - old habits die hard. 🤣😂 I didn't realize I was still doing that. Shows I go into auto drive while recording. 😂
      You're making good speed if you're already mid game! I've been playing soccer February and just started accessing subspace relays. I know they say that's when mid game starts. I think I could have accessed them earlier if I'd known how close I was to unlocking them. They're serious cash cows, though. It was super exciting my first time building one.

    • @phuzziwan_kenobi
      @phuzziwan_kenobi 2 месяца назад

      @@GUNDAMTIME If subspace relays are midgame, then I'm not really near that, I'm just getting to the point where solar cells are taking just under 5 minutes to craft, which is a far cry better than the 1hour 40 minute base time for that. In the last 2 challenges I've done, I've finally managed to open the Crafting Efficiency project, bringing the crafting cost down to 40% of base, which has been out of reach before.

    • @GUNDAMTIME

    Here's how I play, and so far it's paid off and I'm playing platinum tournaments, just got top 10 but nowhere near at the speeds of those getting the quintillions yet haha.
    First 4 planets = upgrade mine rate to 30, speed and cargo as needed but generally they're 30 mine rate to 10 of each speed and cargo, sell everything that's coming in except the highest value ore which you want to smelt and sell the bars of, you should be able to unlock your 50k and 500k smelters before even heading to the next three planets.
    Be sure to open up access to your beacon and only use your points in increasing the mining rate in there, try and get Advanced mining researched asap, actually that entire skill tree is very useful as well as the Advanced furnace and advanced alloy value. I only go for Advanced crafter if I'm in tourny, challenge or have moved beyond galaxy sales of I'd say over a billion?
    I always smelt the highest ore I have available into bars and sell them, I only keep 1 smelter going for crafting, but it's important in the: Ores, Alloys, Items menu that you click and hold on the bars and use the slider to sell incoming rather than just selling them all and adjust it if you want to keep some bars for different projects etc, then turn it down to 0% once you've moved onto the next better alloy to sell so you can bank what comes in through asteroids for future projects, especially if you're doing tournament or challenge because some of those lower ores will start to be used to make higher levels ores later on.
    Work on getting the next three planets to mining rate level 30 then upgrade to the next 3 if needed, sell the galaxy once you get to 10mil galaxy value +, rinse and repeat until your rooms get too expensive for that to be a valuable use of your play time and move up to 100mil before selling if you find the speed is equally profitable or better than selling at 10mil.
    If you find yourself doing that then I'd suggest only raising Mining rate to 30 on planets up to 17, then on planets 17+ only going to 25 and then dropping it down to 20 beyond planets 26+
    At first I'd suggest using your credits to purchase upgrades for Engineering, I used the rule of 3 upgrades for every 1 of either Aeronautical or packaging and so far that's been fine but I stopped once I got Engineering to level 20 for now because some better rooms became available.
    I then focused on getting Astronomy, robotics and Underforge to max, while also raising the level of Forge in line with them, I ignored workshop at first because I wasn't really crafting early on because I was selling the galaxy before I'd get any real use out of it which I only started levelling once I got into the tourneys and challenges.
    Stay away from colonisation, it's a waste of resources and not really worth it until you can get the "Debris Scanner" researched and I'd only really bother with that in tournaments anyway.
    For your rover I'd suggest focusing on the options that give: dark matter>manager cards> $>clock, that cash windfall can be a nice booster in tourneys and the Time warp can save you a lot of time in getting a nice research project you need done asap.
    For your managers, keep only the Mine Rate ones and use any others you get for fodder but not at first! Focus on sub abilities of mine rate> smelting> crafting speed.
    Only spend your dark matter on Brilliant Academy Managers or the 500 dark matter option, the others are a waste, and don't worry about promoting them beyond their base recruitments until you have around 10-15 slots opened and filled. I used the rule: buy a manager open a slot, buy a manager open another slot then started feeding them to one another after I'd gotten 15 in use, ensuring to keep the max number of working managers available at all times and putting my highest managers into the most expensive ore planets.
    As this guide suggests, do yourself a favour, if you like this game buy the add free, I can't recommend it enough, it will save you a lot of play time, the other ships such as daughter and elder are great to have but nowhere near as valuable as that imho.
    Beyond that I'd say your next room to focus on would be Classroom once you get to it as it appears to be the most valuable, but don't be afraid to open all of them and experiment a little, I actually do like the extra idle time for when I go to bed during tourneys and challenge, you can wake up to a tonne of crafted goodies for the more expensive projects. Enjoy!

    • @GUNDAMTIME
      @GUNDAMTIME  Месяц назад

      The only thing I'd change in this is the fact that colonization is never worth it, not even in tournaments, except for terraforming and advanced terraforming. And I always make use of those while in challenges and tournaments. I've been finishing top five in platinum lately - the game gets so much faster later on. Thank goodness too.

      For the earlier planets, yes. Later ones (planets 20-25 and above), I'm finding I need to have ship and cargo upgraded almost as high. And in planets 40+, I need to have the ship and cargo just as high. It depends on which part of the research tree I've unlocked and how my managers are doing. With mine rates on all of my managers, and the manager boosts available in the research tree, I need cargo and ship speed pretty high to keep up.

I would imagine that it's not that expensive for someone who's living in first world country, but for the rest it sucks. I love their games, but it really kills the joy when i get destroyed in tournaments just because someone paid for some boost that i cannot afford simply because prices are adapted for first world countries players.

    I completely disagree about colonizing. It’s a 30 PERCENT BOOST to mining speed each upgrade. That’s like investing in the mining mothership upgrade TWICE for that planet. Yes it’s expensive to do but that’s why there are techs in the tree to reduce the price. You are completely sleeping on colonizing I promise you

    • @GUNDAMTIME
      @GUNDAMTIME  16 дней назад

      A boost, yes, but to which planets? None that matter. In early game, those resources would be better put to increasing galaxy value and selling frequently, and in late game, when items are easy to get, it only boosts planets that don't really matter. The only useful thing in colonization is terraforming for VPS planets. I occasionally colonize up as far as I can without using advanced robots or subspace relays, and there is no discernable difference. I never even get past planets 25-30, and using advanced robots or subspace relays to colonize those lower planets doesn't increase the value of my galaxy at all. Not when I'm mining much higher ores.

    Question if you pay to have your ads removed do you still got to press to get the money or you just get it auto even if your afk ?
