Low setting jay or medium?!
He talked about this in one of his videos recently I believe. That he goes through and turns everything to low or off. The character on ultra for the thumbnails etc. I went through and did the same on my Haswell age gaming rig and put a lot of stuff on medium or off. When you click on certain things in the video settings you can see what effect it has because it usually switches to another screen like the character detail or a scenery and you can see what effect character detail or tessellation has on the environment. I put things mostly on medium or their lowest settings and it runs great (for the most part) on my older rig.
