Honestly the song “I hate my mom” really hits home. (This is kinda a vent) Vent: My biological mother (17) got me and my sister taken away from her when we were baby’s (1&2) for doing dr$gs and running with a bad crowd, My biological mom was on her own after my sisters dad got arrested for being in a g&ng and murd$r, She didn’t know who my dad was so she was literally a 17 year old single mom, After we got taken away from my bio-mom, Me and my Sis where placed in foster care for a couple months until my Great-Grandma and Her friend adopted me and my sister, My life went pretty good until when I was 8 I started realizing, My Adopted Mom cared more for my sis than me and that every time my sister did something bad I would get punished, and that she would yell at me ALL the time, (keep in mind I’ve struggled with my mental health since a very young age and I’ve been Medically diagnosed with Body dysmorphic disorder, Depression and I struggle with self harm and a Eating Disorder) anyways as I grew up a little more everything I did wasn’t good enough for her but everything my sister Did was fine, I started realizing that she was Mentally Abusive, When I was around the age of 10 (August 2019), My Adoptive mom started to get sick and in January 2020 she passed away, it made me very angry that she died without saying sorry for treating me the way she did and she got away with yelling at me and my grandma every-night and for favoring my sister, but I also felt kind free when she died knowing that I survived it on my own, I never had many friends and I barely had a childhood, all I really had was my bunny, myself and my grandma. This song is literally me in the inside every-time someone brings up my mom, because honestly the only people who knew I was being mentally abused was my grandma and myself, everyone though that we where the perfect family. And know I’m 12 and I have Mommy and Daddy issues, My bunny died and my sister acts like she’s the victim, I still have depression but I’m getting therapy and help, I’m almost done fighting my eating disorder, and only me and my grandma still know the truth other than my sister but she doesn’t know everything. tw : mental abuse , kidnapping , and some other triggering topics i was born to a very mentally unstable birth mother with no father in sight , i was with her for about two years until she got arrested and gave custody in front of the officer to the boyfriend that we hardly knew . it was technically legal but he also had my older brother whom he had no custody over at all with . after my grandma fought for a while with him we were finally ‘ returned ‘ to the family . my brother went with his father and i stayed with my grandma, great aunt , and great grandma . greataunt later adopted me ( lets call her n ) . i never knew i was adopted by n , my little sister knew before i did even if she was adopted into another family ( complicated ) and would say things like “ ( bio moms name ) is our real mom “ and i would just be like “ no - ( sisters adopted mom ) is your mom and n is my mom and we’re sisters . ” i found out offically one day after a big break down and also learned more in a fuckin doctors office . i didnt know why i was adopted but bio mom visited for the christmas time ( ahe would do this frequently then disappear until she needed something ) and once she knew i found out she would buy me a bunch of stuff with money she probably stole . she hasn’t been around for about two or three years but honestly i couldnt care less . i’ve learned so much about her in this time and it hurts . and with n it’s not any better , the mental health and abuse i go through every day . i cry myself to sleep wayyyy too much and am terrified of opening up to her anymore and she yells , threatens to hit me , etc etc . i genuinely cant wait till im 18 so i can get out of this shit hole . i’be been diagnosed with anxiety and am seeking help for depression . But as soon as she goes in the other room, it’s like the tears were never there bro 😭✋ She’s wished I wasn’t her daughter (i don’t identify as a girl so it kinda hurts more lmao) She told me that I deserve to be hit more when I was crying after my dad hit me and then when I slapped my nan’s arm like 10 minutes later when my nan laughed when I was crying about it, my mum then told me that “no one ever deserves to be hit.” She always guilts be into forgiving her for the things she says. Like yesterday for example I woke up for Christmas the usual time we do and she started yelling at me and told me I had ruined Christmas. She started crying and asking why I was like this and compared me to my ex best friend of 12 years and basically said that she is better than me. I remember the first time she told me she hated me and wished I wasn’t her kid. I was like 4 or 5 and playing with dolls with this little plastic toy baby carrier thing. She was on a phone call and I can’t remember that vividly but my brother had said/done something to me and I started freaking out basically and she apologised and ended the call. She then told me that she hated me and that if she could go back in time, she would never have had me and she wishes she had a different daughter. She then threw the baby carrier down the stairs and it broke. As I’m writing this, so many memories are coming back to me omddd 🧑🦯🧑🦯 Last year my mum, brother, nan and I were on holiday for like 4 days in Easter. We stayed in this little lodge and I was wearing these socks that reached my knees. (I thought they were cute but whatever🥸) Everyone there hated them and told me they were weird and I looked like a freak. I refused to take them off because I’m stupid 😋. After loads of comments about them, I was obviously not in a great mood so when my mum then took her phone out and took a picture with a smirk on her face I lost my temper and told everyone to p!ss off and leave me alone.🤪✋ I was walking back to my room in the lodge when my mum grabbed my wrist and took my phone. I thought everything was okay so I went to the room and stayed there for like 5 minutes before remembering I had to tell my friend something pretty important. I went to go ask my mum for my phone so I could speak to my friend. (she hates all my friends) She told me no and that they’d tell me to (TW) Sl!t my wr!sts or h@ng myself if I went to them with my problems. I started crying as that really triggered me and ran back to the room. My brother forced my mum to come in and apologise. So she came in the room but no apology, instead she just told me that they were probably all 60 year old men so, (again, I was angry) I swore at her to leave me alone. She didn’t appreciate that so grabbed my shoe off the floor (it was a pretty hard shoe, not like a flip flop or anything) and started hitting me with it and telling me she, again, wishes I was never her kid. I’ll skip to the next day when we went to the beach. I already was in a bad mood but beaches stress me out which worsened it 😭✋ On the car ride home, mum was telling me that I had it lucky and that *I* was the one who hit her with the shoe and showed this tiny mark on her arm and said that was where I had hit her with it- 🧑🦯🧑🦯 Eventually I mentioned how my dad was @bus!ve and they all started laughing at me and told me I deserved it (mum literally said I deserve to be hit more) My nan then laughed and so I slapped her on the arm whilst literally crying. My mum then got like really angry- we were pretty much back to the lodge at this point but she threatened to kick me out the car and leave me there. Anyway we got to the thingy and I walked in. Mum told me that no one ever deserves to be hit (Excuse me 🧍??) Mum demanded an apology. I refused as I’m a stubborn cow 😭 Long story short my brother gave me a concussion 🤪 #familylove Anygays- why was this so long. 🧍 i don’t want this to seem like I’m begging for attention broskis I kinda find it all funny now tbh as it doesn’t affect me that much anymore. If I had to pick between hiding it forever, and have to go through that pain 3 other times, I would hide it forever until I get a partner. i was born to a very mentally unstable birth mother with no father in sight , i was with her for about two years until she got arrested and gave custody in front of the officer to the boyfriend that we hardly knew . it was technically legal but he also had my older brother whom he had no custody over at all with . after my grandma fought for a while with him we were finally ‘ returned ‘ to the family . my brother went with his father and i stayed with my grandma, great aunt , and great grandma . greataunt later adopted me ( lets call her n ) . i never knew i was adopted by n , my little sister knew before i did even if she was adopted into another family ( complicated ) and would say things like “ ( bio moms name ) is our real mom “ and i would just be like “ no - ( sisters adopted mom ) is your mom and n is my mom and we’re sisters . ” i found out offically one day after a big break down and also learned more in a fuckin doctors office .
i didnt know why i was adopted but bio
mom visited for the christmas time ( ahe would do this frequently then disappear until she needed something ) and once she knew i found out she would buy me a bunch of stuff with money she probably stole . she hasn’t been around for about two or three years but honestly i couldnt care less . i’ve learned so much about her in this time and it hurts .
and with n it’s not any better , the mental health and abuse i go through every day . i cry myself to sleep wayyyy too much and am terrified of opening up to her anymore and she yells , threatens to hit
me , etc etc . i genuinely cant wait till im 18 so i can get out of this shit hole . i’be been diagnosed with anxiety and am seeking help for depression . ( i took a test in a doctors office but lied on it cause grandma was in the room and the doctor read out the answers . which is so fuckin stupid but )
so yeah , i hate my whole family minus a few . it’s so fucked especially since my views on life are against everyone elses

Sad story: so one time my mom took my tv controller sonce everyday i would listen to music every 5 minutes before bed. i asked her to give it me back politely. she would say no so many times to the point i ws crying. so you know what i did? i snuck to get my tablet and played this song under the pillow so my mom wouldn't hear. every single event happening in this song has happened to me.

I honestly don’t know how to feel about my mum. Sometimes she’s really nice but I’ve never forgotten some of the things she has said/done to me :/ like I don’t get it. When she upsets me, she always cries and asks me why I hate her and if I’ll every visit her when I move out. But as soon as she goes in the other room, it’s like the tears were never there bro 😭✋
She’s wished I wasn’t her daughter (i don’t identify as a girl so it kinda hurts more lmao)
She told me that I deserve to be hit more when I was crying after my dad hit me and then when I slapped my nan’s arm like 10 minutes later when my nan laughed when I was crying about it, my mum then told me that “no one ever deserves to be hit.”
She always guilts be into forgiving her for the things she says. Like yesterday for example I woke up for Christmas the usual time we do and she started yelling at me and told me I had ruined Christmas.
She started crying and asking why I was like this and compared me to my ex best friend of 12 years and basically said that she is better than me.
I remember the first time she told me she hated me and wished I wasn’t her kid. I was like 4 or 5 and playing with dolls with this little plastic toy baby carrier thing. She was on a phone call and I can’t remember that vividly but my brother had said/done something to me and I started freaking out basically and she apologised and ended the call.
She then told me that she hated me and that if she could go back in time, she would never have had me and she wishes she had a different daughter. She then threw the baby carrier down the stairs and it broke.
As I’m writing this, so many memories are coming back to me omddd 🧑🦯🧑🦯
Last year my mum, brother, nan and I were on holiday for like 4 days in Easter. We stayed in this little lodge and I was wearing these socks that reached my knees. (I thought they were cute but whatever🥸)
Everyone there hated them and told me they were weird and I looked like a freak. I refused to take them off because I’m stupid 😋.
After loads of comments about them, I was obviously not in a great mood so when my mum then took her phone out and took a picture with a smirk on her face I lost my temper and told everyone to p!ss off and leave me alone.🤪✋
I was walking back to my room in the lodge when my mum grabbed my wrist and took my phone.
I thought everything was okay so I went to the room and stayed there for like 5 minutes before remembering I had to tell my friend something pretty important. I went to go ask my mum for my phone so I could speak to my friend. (she hates all my friends)
She told me no and that they’d tell me to (TW)
Sl!t my wr!sts or h@ng myself if I went to them with my problems. I started crying as that really triggered me and ran back to the room.
My brother forced my mum to come in and apologise. So she came in the room but no apology, instead she just told me that they were probably all 60 year old men so, (again, I was angry) I swore at her to leave me alone. She didn’t appreciate that so grabbed my shoe off the floor (it was a pretty hard shoe, not like a flip flop or anything) and started hitting me with it and telling me she, again, wishes I was never her kid.
I’ll skip to the next day when we went to the beach. I already was in a bad mood but beaches stress me out which worsened it 😭✋
On the car ride home, mum was telling me that I had it lucky and that *I* was the one who hit her with the shoe and showed this tiny mark on her arm and said that was where I had hit her with it- 🧑🦯🧑🦯
Eventually I mentioned how my dad was @bus!ve and they all started laughing at me and told me I deserved it (mum literally said I deserve to be hit more)
My nan then laughed and so I slapped her on the arm whilst literally crying.
My mum then got like really angry- we were pretty much back to the lodge at this point but she threatened to kick me out the car and leave me there.
Anyway we got to the thingy and I walked in. Mum told me that no one ever deserves to be hit (Excuse me 🧍??)
Mum demanded an apology. I refused as I’m a stubborn cow 😭
Long story short my brother gave me a concussion 🤪

My mom once made me and my sister try on our old swimsuits and mine was too small on my stomach and when I told my mom all she said was " it would fit better if you ran a bit more" while laughing, let's just say that left me crying and with body image issues till this day so moral of the story don't comment on your kids bodies negatively

I dont know how I feel about my mom tbh... I love her so so much. I think. She buys me gifts and gives me food, gives me attention, and I would be happy but I feel like it's kind of fake..? I mean, I told her i was pansexual a while ago, (and turns out I'm actually omnisexual which is kind of like pansexual except we are not "gender blind" so we will date you, but we do care about gender.) And she didnt exept me. She kinda just started rambling about how she loves the LGBTQ+ community, but then she went on an entire ramble of just "You cant be pan, because you are too young to know who you are, you are only a kid, and science shows that people your age arent able to to be pan." I didnt care about it at that moment, but the more I thought about it, the more it hurt. She brung it up again, and I was so close to crying bc she said, "hey, if you turn into something else than pan, dont hide it from me until your 28! Haha!" But honestly, I think I will. If I had to pick between hiding it forever, and have to go through that pain 3 other times, I would hide it forever until I get a partner. (I say 3 more times bc I am an omnisexual, asexual, and also non binary so they/them pronouns pls) I feel like I need to love my mom, but it so hard that she doesnt accept me. I dont know if I hate her or love her at this point.
