I really felt Arin's utterly defeated "Oh God no." when he saw the pinball mission. Don't worry Arin, you did it exactly right. It's just that excruciating. Also, yes, "Find Your Flame" is an awesome boss song.
I've played through the game three times now, I have never had a problem with Pinball. I am honestly at a loss at what exactly people are having trouble with.

The boss themes were a collaboration process between Sonic Team's Tomoya Ohtani and Kellin Quinn. Ohtani also composed most of the cyberspace tracks and the island themes. Dudes a genius.
This episode was especially great because Dan actually used different attacks for once, and it made the fight hit even harder, so glad he's learning how to play the game the proper way!

And yes he does mention the distinction between doing an activity for its own sake versus purely instrumentally to bring something else about, though that is indeed just 1 idea amid a much larger account about the nature of happiness and the ways one can cultivate virtuous character in order to achieve it. As for Dan's questions, Aristotle isn't the 'father of modern democracy', that's something usually said of John Locke - a much later thinker (hence 'modern' democracy - Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle were ancient thinkers). And yes, Aristotle was the foremost student of Plato (though neither he nor Plato were especially huge fans of democracy - the ancient Athenian version at least), so he takes a lot of influence from him, though he very much had unique views in general. This is the game, more than any other Sonic game, where I genuinely am rooting for Arin when he struggles. And and genuinely happy for him when he succeeds. I saw a comment about "the dreaded pinball section" a couple videos back, and I was just confused by it. I played the game, and had no issues with the pinball. It didn't even occur to me that it was something that someone might get stuck on. I asked them to clarify, and they said that they had the ball clip through things. I never had that happen. I played on PC with no issue, Arin played on PC with no issue, and the commenter I'm referring to played on playstation. Perhaps it's a platform thing?

Tbh I rolled my eyes a little on Arin's original pos on squirting when it aired and I'm glad he clarified it. I agree that the vast, VAST majority of "squirting" that's sold to people is actually just pee. Like, nearly _all_ of it. I've beheld the private video collections of a woman or two and there were some "squirting" videos in there that clearly fell into the pee category, so even some women seem to buy into the lie (or they just like pee, by any other name). This is the game, more than any other Sonic game, where I genuinely am rooting for Arin when he struggles. And and genuinely happy for him when he succeeds. Maybe because it seems like they’re also genuinely into it. lol

I saw a comment about "the dreaded pinball section" a couple videos back, and I was just confused by it. I played the game, and had no issues with the pinball. It didn't even occur to me that it was something that someone might get stuck on. I asked them to clarify, and they said that they had the ball clip through things. I never had that happen. I played on PC with no issue, Arin played on PC with no issue, and the commenter I'm referring to played on playstation. Perhaps it's a platform thing?

Tbh I rolled my eyes a little on Arin's original pos on squirting when it aired and I'm glad he clarified it. I agree that the vast, VAST majority of "squirting" that's sold to people is actually just pee. Like, nearly _all_ of it. I've beheld the private video collections of a woman or two and there were some "squirting" videos in there that clearly fell into the pee category, so even some women seem to buy into the lie (or they just like pee, by any other name).
I'm not saying female ejaculation isn't real, but in the case of porn, there's several economic pressures bearing down:
1) Virtually all porn is just a performance done to appease another party who isn't even present.
2) It's a heck of a lot easier to pee than is is to squirt. It can be done on demand.
3) Real squirting isn't as visually spectacular as peeing.
4) Demand greatly outstrips supply. But even then the audience is not particularly demanding because they're horny.
