p.s I feel like this needed to be addressed because I felt a little convicted LOLL at about 2:12, we were asked if we would date a guy who doesn't read his Bible!! a few girls answered that it isn't important to them and that they struggle with reading their Bible sometimes (which is true, we all do!!) but since I never personally addressed it in the video, I thought I'd just elaborate on what I would've said if I didn't keep quiet hahaha
for anyone who isn't a Christian and wants to understand the Christian witness better, I just wanted to clarify something:
What is a Christian who doesn't read the Bible? How can we have a relationship with God if we don't spend time in His Word for us? I wish I'd said this in the video, but I wouldn't like to be unequally yoked with someone who doesn't read their Bible (2 Corinthians 6: 14) because how could they possibly identify as a Christian? The Bible is such an important book- it's more than a book. It should be the center of our life- it's the living, breathing Word of God! Without the Word, we become like the world, and friendship with the world is enmity with God (James 4:4)! Personally, if the guy I date doesn't recognize that, I wouldn't like to date him at all. All it would do is break my Christian witness and it would be detrimental to my spiritual health. This might not be everyone's opinion, but I thought I'd leave mine for anyone wondering!! Hopefully, this cleared any confusion up (at least from my end lol!) I don't mean to shame or put down anybody in the video- I just wanted to clear things up about anyone wondering what the Bible means to Christians:)
