- Capillary telangiectasias are the 2nd most common brain vascular malforation (after DVAs), but despite their impressive name, they are a harmless incidental finding on imaging studies in the majority of cases, you just have to know they exist and what they look like to avoid mistaking them for pathology (like a brain metastasis or a cavernoma).
