There is no doubt that singers like Tom Jones went right to the soul. I was 18 in 1969 and absolutely loved Tom Jones. As a cowboy actually doing cowboy work, I would listen to him every chance I got. He was (and still is at 80-81). Loved his show and never missed it.

Tom Jones is so believable as he sings. It’s more than likely this didn’t happen to him since he was married to the same women for over 50 years. Tom is the only singer that puts his heart and soul into every song 🌟 the passion, emotion and power he puts into every performance is astronomical 🌟 he did have love at that time as he was married to his teenage sweetheart, he was married to Melinda for 59 years until she died in 2016 🤩
When Tom's wife passed away he wrote n sang on song in her honor titled " I won't crumble" Because his wife asked him to continue singing when she passes..She didn't want him to crumble because she had to leave...
