Many many Thanks for the info and taking the time to measure your telescopic mines came up to just under 25inch 24 so my repair was 3" short would this make a great deal of difference ? And I'm setting up an T2LT ON A 9 meter pole, Thanks again
Great Video just What I wanted to know may I ask was that The old FM 40 channels you were using and picking up 30charlieTango171 Spain Calling!!!!! Wicked reception. And may I also ask could you please measure your Telescopic Midland aerial from top of centre load coil to the Tip Please I only ask because I have just got a portapack and got it working again but the top sections are broken I can fix it but I can't find the right Measurements for this.. Thanks Again for the Vid, " Blinding "
Sorry I just realised that you left the Original Aerial on and plugged in another Antenna' would the closed down Telescopic act as Ground plane or Radials or would it just affect the SWR and Spoil the other Antennas (T2LT) Signal? Many Many Thanks and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your Family...
Hi, ive measured the top section and its 28" from the coil. Yes the same uk 40 channels still in use. Leaving the telescopic antenna on makes no difference at all to anything, just stops it from getting lost really .lol. i used to take it off but realising it makes no difference its best for me to leave it there. Glad you liked the vid and i have answerd all your questions, if not dont be afraid to ask. Cheers
I have here in Oregon USA dumb people jamming the Cb radio with high power amplifier. Dead key 1000 watts. All hear is the carrier of the transmission and no audio.
+bonydox9 hi, yes I will agree that the first time you put it up it can take some time but after the first setup it's fairly quick as normally you don't need to touch it again. the places these are designed for use it would be hard work to take a proper homebase antenna along with the rest of the kit we take. cheers 73
hi, yes pretty much everyone sits on 1 channel on fm. you should get the UK when conditions are right as we've spoke to loads of stations over in the US. we can also use your AM band now so it can be done. conditions not in our favour atm but you never know we do hear the US from time to time. there are some on my other videos somewhere. thanks for watching.. 73

Very good video but there does seem to be a lot of set up time.
I'll settle for my imax 2000 on a pole with swr perfect out of the box..

I like to work the UK. But I am allowed only talk within USA with my Cb radio. Fcc rule for CB Radio.
