Got the King Tours fit for me and I sold them after 6 weeks. Did a Titleist fitting day and landed on the T150. There’s no comparison for me. The feel of the T150 is amazing. They perform great on misses. But it’s the feel for me. The feel of the cobras were horrible for me. Performance actually was really good. But I could not get around the feel of them and as ball striking is my strength not loving the feel of pure shot was a problem.
Nice comprehensive look at the Cobra lineup, thanks for that. I am a forged tec fan, but also like the thinner top line in the CB's. If they can be matched up in a combo set, that would be great. I too, was shocked at the Forged TEC X results, plus the extra forgiveness in the irons, so regardless of handicap, any club that is more forgiving, providing better results, is worth having in the bag. Some golfers need a reality check, in the self belief of their REAL ability, they unfortunately, don't want to face reality, fooling themselves, by having gear in the bag, that clearly does not aid their game, but looks good, bragging rights with their mates, so they think, but it achieves nothing, especially when results are clearly not worth bragging about. Having golf clubs that suit YOU is important, one size, one shaft, does not fit all, those days are gone. I'm due for a proper fitting, as the years creep on, the shafts for sure, need to be checked out, to see if my swing speed has dropped, do the stiff shafts I have always used, need changing for shafts that suit me better. My stats tell me, I need to take a good look, no point in me, or anyone trying to swing faster or slower all the time, to fit the gear. Good fitters are worth every penny they earn, they can improve our game and enable us to enjoy our golf more.
I’ve been going back and forth between the Darkspeed and the Tec X. I’m a high handicapper, but I’m taking regular lessons, and my game has improved significantly. I don’t want to make the mistake of choosing the Darkspeed only to wish I had gone with the Tec X if my game continues to progress.
Cobra produce interesting irons, probably have the most innovative R&D department and not afraid to go in a different direction compared to their competitors. The downside is that for too long they have treated the back of the irons as an advertising billboard which to my eyes just looks rubbish. Fortunately it does seem as though Cobra have finally listened to the complaints and are toning down the back of the irons. Both the Forged Tec and Tour are good looking irons but I think Tour is a better performer. Then we come to the CB, a beautiful iron only problem is that the Wilson CB is better looking and the same price
Being 5x forged is manly a marketing ploy. More is not necessarily better. For example mizuno forge their irons twice and so do other Japanese forgings. Do these feel better than the likes of mizuno muira and srixon? Most people would say not
Brilliant video again guys. Completely agree with your end decision, but the full range is as good as it gets. Cobra never make bad golf clubs.

The LIMIT3D is their best 2024 iron.
