First of all, I never understood why people always mention crimes of the US when people speak about Ukrainian victims of the russian invaders. War crimes of USA are, obviously, crimes against humanity, against innocent people, and it should be recognized and condemned everywhere. But why condemn USA just to justify russia? to say "Russia bad? eh, who cares, look what USA did!". both are shit. seriously. I don't support any country in invading and killing. the second thing is, pretty much the same as what I said - while we should talk about every country killing people, we should never do this to "distract" people from studying the case of the other. in other words - let's not distract people from one tragedy with the other. all are important. It's about people's lives, after all.
and in fact, I'm not saying I will never mention historical events from your comment - I will. alongside with mentioning russia colonizing its neighbours, since as I said, all cases deserve recognition.
