- World record (as far as legit scores are concerned) high score speed run of the 6th campaign mission (Special Missions HQ). Time: 15:36. Score: 34755.
This is more of a "score-whoring" run than a pure stealth speed run. I decided to bend my normal rules a bit for this mission: I restarted a checkpoint (for the sake of points), I took down some enemies when I didn't need to and I even started a firefight on purpose (again, to score some additional knockouts). Surprisingly, after all this I was still considered a 100% Ghost by the game's standards...

RULES:
High-score speedrun of Splinter Cell: Blacklist. My main goal is to achieve maximum possible points in each mission, which requires 4 things:
1) PERFECTIONIST difficulty: it has the highest score multiplier.
2) GHOST playstyle: leaving enemies undisturbed provides the highest bonuses. Whenever it is required to knockout enemies to proceed I will try to do it without breaking the streak.
3) EXPLORATION: each Exploration bonus provides 100 points and they never take long to grab. Considering that 1 second is worth ~3 points, they always recoup the cost of time lost.
4) SPEED: if you're fast the time bonus could make up as much as 30-40% of the total score.

This level is apparently incredibly buggy with regards to ratings.
***** Yeah, I attempted ghosting this mission several times (with and without knockouts) but I don't think I ever acutally earned "Undetected" status for it.

Honestly the point is not to have the best graphics, but to use them properly. Sometimes lover textures used with great colors and lighting can look more realistic and prettier than just slapping *pHoToReAlIsTiCiC* graphics on frikkin sink.

A few minutes in I already liked your style a lot, thumbs up! I played on an Xbox so I can't do some of the tricks, but good to know they can be done.
This is my all time favourite stealth shooter, at least gameplay wise. The way you can ghost your way through an entire mission is very impressive. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to go prone like MGS.
I see this art for the first time and I love U man. Job that U do here is amazing, yes, I know that this movie'vgot 5 years, but still - worth to see that masterpiece.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I didn't know about throwing the guy through the window for a stealth knockout or the vent shaft in the middle of the courtyard. Awesome performance.

Press "skip" on that cutscene and you won't get detected, it might be some sort of bug but works.
You don't have to take out anyone, all you need are two smoke grenades. (One to the gate one beneath you)

Impressive work. You seem to be ridiculously good at finding extra enemies to KO. I never find these things out, but then again I'm way too lazy. I just run through each mission a number of times and hope for the best lol.
I both love and hate that kind of performance. This is spectacular in the way you're playing with the game itself, the way it is made. But it also reveals all the flaws of it (blind and deaf guards, mostly...). Blacklist is fun (I play full ghost perfectionnist, without knockouts. Long but challenging too) but I miss the time when Splinter Cell was cruel and realistic (running near a guard in Chaos Theory and no reaction? Yeah, right... xD ). In Blacklist, I always have the feeling I'm role-playing my concentration, my patience, my stress... and your video proves that old-school SC players are ridiculously too careful for those new games.
But don't take me wrong, I'm complaining about the game, not your video. What you did is awesome. Huge respect :)

It's very weird. Usually I could at least make the game behave like it should by restarting from the Paladin, but whenever it goes into this "mode" now it stays unless I restart my computer. The game sure has some extremely weird bugs, and most of them seem to come after reloading checkpoints or whole missions. A window on Detention Facility isn't possible to get through after reloading the mission even once for instance, and I have to start again from the Paladin to make it work.
This strat isn't working for me. They keep going straight into combat alert when I shut down the security and end up destroying the trirotor. Hair trigger status I suppose.
Also how did those 2 guys at 13:00 appear? They don't show up on my game.
Suddenly I can't do the area at 2:30 at all. As you probably know the enemies can also choose to run down to your location, which makes it very difficult to take them out unnoticed. The thing is, that only used to happen very rarely, but now it always happens no matter what. Makes it impossible to get 7x since the guy furthest away won't be close by. Seems like one of the many bugs I have, and often I can't restart missions or reload checkpoints without exploration points or enemies disappearing
Thank you for the guide. The guards just before the front enterence weren't exactly as yours were so I used a sticky noisemaker. But other than that not much casualties lol. Thanks

Straight up I messed up on the jugger (14:35) so I ran took him back to the beginning and just bolted a 360 taking the left stairs as he was on right stairs. (Lights had been taken out prior to that part 😂😂)

Whenever I would stealth in Skyrim, I would make sure to kill every single person I encountered, but silently, until I’ve seen you play this and the Phantom Pain, it’s quite clear that I never quite understood what “Stealth” meant.

Hello there, u seem like a very good player who pays intimate attention to detail. I've ghosted this mission on perfectionist with 5 knockouts and a time of 14:00:07. I haven't checked the leaderboards so i don't know if its a world record or something. I have currently finished playing blacklist and was thinking about moving on to a game which will be as close to real life as it gets. They say farcry 1 v1.4 is the hardest game on its Realistic difficulty setting. The a.i. is as close to reality as possible. Have you played this game? Does it have any stupid a.i. perks on the hardest setting ? Because Blacklist sure has quite a lot of them. Hope to get a reply soon. Thanks !

Did they patch the game? I throw this guy threw the window (arount 5:20) and don't get a next one. BTW, the guy isn't walking so I have to take him out at the other side of the door.
I somehow accidentally killed someone on this mission...if I just re do this one mission and do perfect on all the others..will I get the "No Kill Option Engaged" Trophy or do I have to do the entire campaign over again?

***** I'm having more problems..I went through the entire level again...made sure not even killing anyone I didn't have to...but it still says I killed someone. Only place I can think of where it might be counting it as a kill is the guard door at 10:31 where I grab him as a human shield then knock him out...other than that I'm using non lethal gadgets to kill everyone. Any ideas on what I should do? Or should I just replay again?

didn't have a flashbang so instead of a sticky camera at the begginning of the bvault i used a proximity shocker same thing and i used sticky camera to do the flashbang's job

Yes, it's the checkpoint in the prison (2:32).

It's the same problem on PS3, the soldiers stay in combat mode and you need to restart the checkpoint to get around it. I've reported it to Ubisoft support and hopefully many others have too. Hope it will be fixes soon.

I do not understand the missions "Special missions HQ" and "Abandoned Mill", if the dogs barking at me is recorded as "detection"? And the HQ at the prison is contabilzado as "detection" Quandi começão to shoot me? I got the "ok" on all missions in perfectionist and without killing anyone, but I can not the "ok" to "not be deteccado" because of the dogs. Help

bro, i noticed you did the whisper thing a bit to get their attention. something you mentioned (in your first video i think) was only about 50% reliable, the other 50% of the time it alerted them rather than just distracting them. is this something that was changed in the recent 1.7gb update?

Ah, I see. The 8x KO's + 2 extra KO's seemed cool for me, but I would've thought that you skip the next 2 (just before the end sequence). I didn't know that the last two stay "alerted" even though they're in the 'next' area.
