The country is run by monopolies and oligopolies in banking, telecommunications, housing, retail, and other services. Canadians pay more than Americans for food, alcohol, housing, transportation, cell phones, gasoline, airline tickets and banking services. It is extremely expensive to buy or rent a house, and out of reach for most Canadians. Middle class Canadians pay over 50% income taxes and 67% capital gains taxes. All these factors have forced thousands of new immigrants and other Canadians to leave the country.

The U.S has its fair share of problems, but anybody thinking of moving to Canada is only going to run into the same problems, if not worse.
Canada is nice to visit as a tourist, especially during the summer, but I realize I’d never want to live there. Canadians tend to be superficial and/or passive aggressive in their interactions, have no real culture to offer outside of “not being American”, the cost of living (especially in Southern Ontario) is ridiculously expensive, and unlike the U.S, there is no climate diversity, and I don’t like long winters.

So the sooner we get the Cancer removed from parliament the sooner our land will heal ! The liberals have failed us too many times , the NDP have only destroyed what ever bit of respect they had by joining Trudeau ! Our only hope is someone who comes from a common background, who lived in a simple upbringing , who understand suffering and sharing ! The country simply don't have the carrying capacity to host this many people. The health care system close to collapse, the schools are terrible, infrastructure not updated to the extra millions. I think, just give some time and none would want to immigrate here. People are slow to notice trends.
