- Ambassador and Carnival, are two new cruise lines which we’re about to try. One appears very British and the other very American, but what will they be like and “Have We Made The Right Choice”

The first trip is a 3-night Ambassador Cruise from Bristol to Dublin and to Liverpool. They call it the Dublin Seacation.
Ambassador Cruise Line only started in 2021 and they have 2 ships - Ambience and Ambition.
We’re on Ambition which started life as the Mistral for Festival Cruises in 1999. It had a refit in April 2023
A few days after this trip we’re heading down to Dover for a 12-night cruise with Carnival Cruises. We’re cruising on the Carnival Legend which had a refit in May 2024.
The Carnival Cruise takes us up to Iceland and back to Belfast Northern Ireland and Dublin again.

Yes although, the US prices for driving trips have become so expensive. Our drives at the moment are local. Saying that we may be in Florida this November.

I love carnival , it really does get a bad wrap. Going on my 9th carnival cruise next month and I have never had those experiences. Carnival is good fun for all , leave your inhibition's home and keep an open mind and your gonna have a blast

We’ve done a couple of cruises with Ambassador and have really enjoyed them - great food and entertainment, fabulous crew and a pretty good price. We haven’t sailed on Ambition yet (we’re booked for March 25) so will be interested to see your video.

Both cruises look interesting. Enjoy my home country Ireland. I know in the 1800s they used to run Ferries from Bristol to Waterford. It is nice to know that you can get a ferry from Bristol to Dublin to Liverpool. As Ringo Starr once said Liverpool is the Capitol of Ireland.
We’re just off Ireland now watching the tender boats in the very choppy water, Hopefully it will get calmer.
