Considering the Dogmatika hatred of his Fusions and the Tri-brigades utter lack of support for him, the Sprigguns seem like the best home for Albaz. I hope the poor guy gets some happiness after all that he has been through.
I do have a little nit-pick about the video. I don't think that the Sprigguns and Team Albaz ever fought. The main evidence presented here is the art of Sprigguns Blast, but the effect requiring the Sprigguns and Albaz to be on the same side of the board to increase in power implies that duing Blast Albaz is HELPING in the bombing run. If they were fighting, Blast would be more powerful if Albaz was on either side of the board.
I can see the logic of that. It's something I hadn't considered, but thinking about it in retrospect, it could also be that Albaz is capable of doing it themselves, but they have to be in the presence of a Spriggun to do it, which is why you can't just activate it with only a Splind on field. But I admit that that doesn't cleanly explain why you, as the player, would get to direct both attack if they're from opposing sides.

They also talked about a "Relic from an Ancient Civilisation" which could be Dogmatika Nexus! It seems like every archetype in the storyline have a relation with The Hole, and Dogmatika seems to have full control on it as well. (i.e. Dogmatiscim)
Oh! Ooooooooh I totally did not make that connection about the 'unknown dark matter' thing with the soot forms, but it makes so much sense! Thank you so much for sharing!
I actually thought the Graces were references to the previous Master Guide arcs; the black matter possibly being the Steelswarm/Evilswarm virus, and the relic being related to the World Legacies.
That also sounds like a valid interpretation! If it ends up being true, it would be the first piece of strong evidence for the YGO Multiverse theory, and I would love that!

@@GoldenNovaYugioh thx, sometimes my deck creations, frighten me on how good they are, imagine sleeper equiped with last resort and that big airship exploded on the field, board wipe alert
Insert ff9 boss theme Now imagine a airship hovering over a wasteland, captained by a gray haired giant with red eyes in a metal gear Rex suit, Don't tell me that's not scary That's scary because now your looking at a board wipe, and with further support to help negate what ever throws there way with solemn traps... Now I'm thinking of splashing cyberdragons in it so infinity will be on the field, things got a whole lot scaryer
You've somewhat mentioned this when referring to the dragons but is it more possible that it is decay or another form of energy born from the holes? With the newest fusion, despite the differences, one important note is how the eye (the other one is cut as shown in oath)is blue with the aura, a possible connection. Also, Fleur might've died and is similar to the TriBrigade (or absorbed others who died) with the implications of Brigand's material being Level 8 or higher instead of a monster of one of those types. Continuing his duty to protect the saint through Albaz. Each form of the dragon has served a purpose, surviving. Fighting, protecting, and fleeing. Transformation could also be based on the needs of the situation which is why he's able to adapt well. But that's more speculation.
Nothing wrong with speculation! (arguably that's how I reach half of my conclusions xD) If there is some kind of corruption, that could also be a factor. I brought up the possibility of Miasma being involved, but this segment didn't really confirm or deny anything like that, so that's up in the air. Your idea that Stigmavore/Brigrand is a fusion with Fleur has some merit. I'd always thought it needed to be associated with the archetype they supported in their card text, but because that requirement isn't part if their actual Fusion requirements, that does leave things up in the air. You've brought up a lot of good things to think about. Thank you for sharing!
It is so interesting to see a Vorthos(lore-based) community in Duel Monsters/Yu-Gi-Oh. You guys get far less lore dumps and information than us MTG players, and yet you still work on piecing things together. If only Konami did lore articles/stories like WotC does...
Love the video and while I hate to say it, Salamangreat could actually work decently with Sprigguns. So far from what I can tell they don't really need a normal summon or lock you into certain monsters so effectively the fire aspect could synergize well and make that control/grind match even stronger. All hypothetical but I'm gonna have to test it now. Again, awesome video though man! Keep it up!
Miragestallio is like an essential first turn play for Salads and it locks you into only using Fire effects for the rest of the turn when you use it’s effect.
An Xyz boss capable of banishing himself to dodge fights and disruption? Sounds like another handsome devil with a black card border I know... Great video, my guy. Opened my eyes up to the archetype as a whole and the Albaz lore, which I should likely read more of! And also see about trying to splice Time Thieves into a deck with these guys after seeing MBT pave that road I could possibly follow as well...
That's awesome, I glad you liked the lore! And yeah, the Time Thief include was pretty heads up, I can't wait to see what further testing brings up, cause I feel like Sprigguns still haven't reached full potential.
@@GoldenNovaYugioh Hoo yeah. Strategy's got nowhere to go but up, and I like to imagine a show with Time Thieves (akin to Chronos Ruler, might I add) having an episode where they're caught in a desert squabble and have to ally with the Sprigguns to keep the peace. Seems more likely than ever. I mean, Time Thieves have become a part of Duel Terminal lore according to Rogue Theory ever since Security Force Showdown!
I have a theory or rather a coincidence that can be important. So far the archetypes that are against dogmatika have some form of cheat monsters from the Extra Deck, 2 possibilities: 1 these are done as a unifying that indicates that they are under the juice of dogmatika and will be something recurrent in all the archetypes that oppose to them. 2) this happens due to its high connection with kit so its mechanics are similar because tri brigade and springun are connected.
Those make a lot of sense. Something I didn't bring up that I should have was that Dogmatika and Sprigguns have a Field Spell but Tribrigade don't, but I hadn't considered the extra deck cheating, that's really cool! Thank you for sharing!
I don't think I realized that some of these videos were also the explained videos. Not to say I don't want as much Nova as possible, but it is nice that for someone like me trying to get caught up can just hop to the lore!

Sprind may not be as hard to summon as one might think When people start running Contact C to counter the Branded deck that'll be meta after the structure deck, Splind will be a crucial extra deck card to run to remove the contact C from your board
@@GoldenNovaYugioh Well, it's safe to say whatever or whoever he fuses with dies in the process, or at the very least is severely fatigued after separation. And he fused at least 3 times; once during the his initial arrival at the Dogma Church, then during Tri-brigade Revolt, and lastly in the Goldgonda Desert. Maybe the Trap cards are more than they seem. I have a hunch and if I'm right, maybe King Alpha was there too, assisting with the revolt and Albaz fused with him. Glorydragon has the same mane and horns as King Alpha, maybe he was some sort of secret weapon for the Tribrigade.
This makes me wish the Machine/Dragon Cyber Archetype had a lore. I always thought of Cyberdark Dragon to resemble Trigon, the Union Dragon Monster. @@GoldenNovaYugioh What do you think for the lore archetypes in Lightning Overdrive as unless there's a jump cut their still in Vast Desert Gold Golgonda. Also I would really like another version Fallen of Albaz that still counts as the original I doubt one will appear Lightning Overdrive but something that would make the fusion easier to summon would be nice.
My current theory is that Albaz and Ecclesia, desperate to put distance between themselves and Theo's Dreadnought, use Splind to jump in the hole, but the Dogmatika ship AND Exblower follow suit, and they end up discovering the secret of how the Hole is created.
Playing Master Duel, I couldn't help but be intrigued by the relationship between all these different archetypes. This shit is so interesting, how the fuck has Konami NOT capitalized on this kind of writing???

The Explained Videos are meant to cover all the cards in an archetype at the time of release, while Shuffling Through History is purely about the lore that's available, plus speculation. However, the more recent Explained Videos about the Lore Archetypes (Dogmatika, Tri-Brigade, etc.) have been a mix of the two. The new information hasn't been enough to make it's own video, so I add them in with the Explained to hopefully make it more concise. I hope that helps, and I'm sorry for any confusion!

Sorry if this was too long!
Don't gotta apologize for long posts to me, I love seeing that level of enthusiasm! And yeah, it would not be surprised if the recurring themes were meant to be a hint to tie everything together. I just hope they get more explicit with it someday.
Like, Avida? Clearly has Qliphort arms. You can't just drop that on us and not explain that, Konami xD
Ok, I'll call Hope Harbinger how you call him from now on.
Also, yay more lore!
It's very fun and not at all a tongue twister :D
Wow outstanding vid, you're really underrated I must say.
😭 Thank you! Compliments like that really raise my spirits. I hope I can keep providing you great videos!
14:40 love the use of The Legend of the Dragoon music
I'm just here for the Dogmas story explained. I liked it since the first chapter, and have been searching non stop this. Great videos and explainings you pull out, man
It would be so nice to have a video with the full updated lore, now that the saga is ending.
11:29 I get the feeling The Tri-Brigade told Ecclesia and Albaz where they could take refugee and hide themselves fromthe Dogmatika. And sent them so they could meet a previous member of the Tri-Brigade: Tri-Brigade Kitt
I used melffy as defense and they work so well. Sprigguns are the offense of my deck
That makes a lot of sense! I never considered how much self-bouncing you get from Melffys. Thank you for sharing!
Oh my god, the ExBlower shoots missiles at your opponent's field. They blow up wherever they hit and take stuff with them. I love it so much.
loreeee loreeee loreee
I can't get enough of it! Can it be January now so we can see what's in Lightening Overdrive?
@@GoldenNovaYugioh i wish I could speed the clock up and just fastforward to January
God i love the legend of dragoon osts that you used, great video btw
been playing almost exclusively sprigguns in Master duel and they're super fun and have good staying power too! thanks for the lore dump! the ecclesia/albaz stuff is super neat!
sprigguns with a splash of SPYRALs sounds like an ff9 boss fight to me, good for me but a big boss for my opponent
Delilah (the channel artist) would like to let you know that this is the best comment anyone has ever posted here, ever.
And I like it a lot, too xD
@@GoldenNovaYugioh thx, sometimes my deck creations, frighten me on how good they are, imagine sleeper equiped with last resort and that big airship exploded on the field, board wipe alert
Insert ff9 boss theme
Now imagine a airship hovering over a wasteland, captained by a gray haired giant with red eyes in a metal gear Rex suit,
Don't tell me that's not scary
That's scary because now your looking at a board wipe, and with further support to help negate what ever throws there way with solemn traps...
Now I'm thinking of splashing cyberdragons in it so infinity will be on the field, things got a whole lot scaryer
You first the Dirk souls music in part 1 and now legend of dragoon music for part 2? I'm smiling wide just hearing it.
VOLCANO!
The lore start at 11:07.
(arguably that's how I reach half of my conclusions xD)
If there is some kind of corruption, that could also be a factor.
That Duelist of the Roses music in the background takes me back.
It is so interesting to see a Vorthos(lore-based) community in Duel Monsters/Yu-Gi-Oh. You guys get far less lore dumps and information than us MTG players, and yet you still work on piecing things together. If only Konami did lore articles/stories like WotC does...
I always watch videos like these to find what my next deck will be I'm excited to build this archetype
The card overviews were cool, but the lore is where it’s at.
I plan on watching the whole series
Love the video and while I hate to say it, Salamangreat could actually work decently with Sprigguns. So far from what I can tell they don't really need a normal summon or lock you into certain monsters so effectively the fire aspect could synergize well and make that control/grind match even stronger. All hypothetical but I'm gonna have to test it now. Again, awesome video though man! Keep it up!
Oh goodness, Salamangreat grind AND constant destruction effects? If you get a deck list together, let me know!
@@GoldenNovaYugioh will do! Might be something to play around with on my next stream if you find the time to tune in!
👀👀👀👀👀
Any update on Salad springans??
@@GoldenNovaYugioh
Hoo yeah. Strategy's got nowhere to go but up, and I like to imagine a show with Time Thieves (akin to Chronos Ruler, might I add) having an episode where they're caught in a desert squabble and have to ally with the Sprigguns to keep the peace.
Seems more likely than ever. I mean, Time Thieves have become a part of Duel Terminal lore according to Rogue Theory ever since Security Force Showdown!
this guy just adds puns to every card
Maximus being used as a name reminds me of world legacy
These are awesome. Can't wait to see where this story goes with stigma
Number 38: Hope Harbinger Super Duper King-Sized Double Dip Deluxe Dragon Titan Galaxy is my absolute favorite card !
I love Albaz’s little smile as he’s riding in Blast. 😆
when? where?
the quality of this video is everything!
😀
14:37 that’s…
LEGEND OF DRAGOON?!
I don't think I realized that some of these videos were also the explained videos. Not to say I don't want as much Nova as possible, but it is nice that for someone like me trying to get caught up can just hop to the lore!
Why does the "little bird" in the green box look just like Tri-Brigade Mercourier from Albaz Strike?
It’s pretty clear that we can expect a Ritual, Fusion, Synchro and Pendulum based deck in this lore soon. We’ve already gotten XYZ and Link.
@@slowlianglong4951 true, but these are more like separate archetypes with some support that is generic for all the archetypes. The fallen of albaz works with all of the archetypes for example.
I happy you cover them before your break....
Yeah! So many people asked for it, so I'd hate to leave them hanging for another month!
Please do a lore video on the new dragma ritual and stigmata stuff, I'd love to see where this story goes^_^
Glad you're looking forward to it, cause I do plan on it! Once the full Lightning Overdrive set list has been revealed, I'm gonna pour over all the details and see what I can divine from them!
Sprind may not be as hard to summon as one might think
When people start running Contact C to counter the Branded deck that'll be meta after the structure deck, Splind will be a crucial extra deck card to run to remove the contact C from your board
Was that rose duelist music I heard in the background? It IS; you have excellent taste
So I never paid sprigguns any attention honestly. But after hearing your explanation of them, I might have to build their deck.
I love these lore videos. Also can we talk about the use of the Legend of Dragoon soundtrack as bgm
I wonder if Albaz's fusion condition means anything towards the lore?
I had a few ideas (in the Dragma/Tribrigade video) about that, but....this one just puzzles me. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
Meanwhile, Cyber Emergency has what looks like Jade Knight surrounded by Dragons. Delta-Tri would unionize with Trigon, A Machine Equipping a Dragon... Idk, I see potential and would love your take if there were a lore for Cyber Dragons. Or, The Cyber Legacy. Officially Subscribing. Love the Content!!
10:54 cyber dragon are very much this
I’m getting vehicroid vibes from the main deck spriggun monsters purely by how they look and how cartoonish their eyes are and the fact concept art shows they have quote on quote alternate modes that still look cartoony
I cant wait to hear all the stories. I enjoyed this one.
I'm glad you liked! And thankfully, you shouldn't have to wait for much longer.
Konami making stuff about guns? MADNESS!
Next thing ya know, they're gonna let crosses be on cards! Or they'll just have a whole ass guillotine on one!
Magical muskets?
What? No, no, those are just, uh...Nerf...guns...right?
@@GoldenNovaYugioh haha i mean doc is a straight up sniper rifle.
That's Legend of Dragoon music in the background!!!!
I think Kitt builds the shells for the spriggans
I can't wait for the despia arc
So we just ignoring that you can clearly see Albaz in the cockpit of Sprind when he can't be seen in any of his other dragon forms?
So for each card I detach I can destroy a card in a particular area and do splash damage to the surrounding area?
Another enjoyable video. I really enjoy these Explain videos as the archetypes themselves with the lore and design is great and throughout world legacy and Dragon boy adventure I've had a lot of fun playing these decks (Expect Guardragon).
So glad to hear you enjoyed! And yeah, Guardragons...really didn't live up to their potential did they? xD Well, at least not the main deck ones.
@@GoldenNovaYugioh What do you think for the lore archetypes in Lightning Overdrive as unless there's a jump cut their still in Vast Desert Gold Golgonda. So what I see happen is either Dogmatika or branch of it like their own inquisition, getting some cards or new archetype jumps through the portal.
Spriggans Madolche sounds crazy. Empty the grace onto exe or merry and then do madolche stuff
bro!! I am binging these lore videos. Like and share for sure
Amazing video series!
My brain is too small to run too many archetypes at once so I'm just running 3 copies of albaz, 2 copies of super poly and a bunch of albaz fusions for my non springan cards
Gonna try out the Machina Variant since I have core already ordered up
Oooooo, that would be pretty spicy!
The duelist of roses soundtrack was lit
I also believe they took inspiration from Dune
Bro I wanna see an albaz base form , eclisia with Maximus power boost and evil Maximus card
Ooooo, fingers crossed! I hope we get a lot more info drops for Lightning Overdrive in the next few days!
was always wondering why the tribrigades had gloomy backgroumds and kitt was for some reason in a desert.
Wonder if the new Rescue-Aces could work with them XD
Sprigguns mirror match is just battleship the boardgame!
Change my mind
Rocky: Uh...A4?
Pede: We're playing YGO, you can see my board!
Rocky: ...so is that a yes?
😁😂😂😂
That music is from legend of dragoon oh wow that's so cool that someone even remembers that amazing game lol
LotD is legit my favorite RPG, so I LOVE using the music!
@@GoldenNovaYugioh yooooo it's an awesome honor to finally meet another fan
Legit, one of the BEST things about having made this channel is hearing from all the LotD fans when they hear the music.
If I can ever get to the point where I can make a second, video game oriented channel, you better BELIEVE I am talking about it.
Did you use legend of dragoon music
Can you make the video of Heraldry?
So, was the giant ship a fusion or no?
Did you see the new albaz support? And the new dragma cards are in what moment of the timeline? And the ritual albaz is diferent to the fusion albaz? And we gonna get a new Arcquetype or is just this stigimata cards?
Yeah, there are a ton of questions now! I hope we get some higher resolution photos later so we can take a better look, ESPECIALLY with the Dogmatika Ritual Monster!
@@GoldenNovaYugioh The rótula monster looked like Fluer de lis...
Oooh he gave them Mercourier!
Dark troubled cute anime boy and pure cute anime girl going through all sorts of peril with a colorful cast of characters (and fanservice)... someone on the design team would rather be doing something else with their career
So whats the next story for lore? I’m loving this, and I recently got back into yug cause of Tri-Brigade, and I always wanted to know what was going on beyond the cards.
The next video lore wise is gonna be Stigmata Explained. I hope you'll enjoy!
So apparently the red hair girl becomes White Relic of Dogmatika, I'm still going through this lore series so IDK if you'll bring that up later, but yeah, letting you know here just in case :)
I heard of spriggans from Fairy Tail. As Zeref put it, they're a kind of evil fairy.
That's pretty cool! Another good reason to finally pick up Fairy Tail!
Fantastic Video!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed!
Legends of dragoon OST sounds pretty good
Flundereeze complete lore- "birb"
whats the difference between your playlist Archtype Analyses and Lore?
The Explained Videos are meant to cover all the cards in an archetype at the time of release, while Shuffling Through History is purely about the lore that's available, plus speculation.
However, the more recent Explained Videos about the Lore Archetypes (Dogmatika, Tri-Brigade, etc.) have been a mix of the two. The new information hasn't been enough to make it's own video, so I add them in with the Explained to hopefully make it more concise.
I hope that helps, and I'm sorry for any confusion!
Man albaz could be its own isekai anime lol
Yay more lore!!
I play a sprigguns, dogmatika and tri- brigade deck... Lol

Aaaaaaa you're gonna make me cry from the sweetness! Thank you so much for the kind words! Can't wait to see what the story has in store for us!
@@GoldenNovaYugioh Same here!! 😊
So Spriggens are just shotas with the mind, soul, and strength of a grumpy giant.
I absolutely hate that analogy.
But you are right.
@@GoldenNovaYugioh just my inner weeb talking here.
Now that I'm thinking, if Spriggens were a fantasy race, there would be a female counterpart. To fit the theme, the ladies would be lolis with all the same things. Since Spriggens don't age, I assume the maturity rate is 10 human years, and consent is 12 human years. Now would this be legal? Biologically yes, but for human authority, the Spriggens must have paper work on them at all times due to human puritan standards. Any more legal ramifications is up to anyone who replies further.
Sprjans? Sprggets? Sprigits? SPRIG-THEMS? Actually one of the cards is called brothers so we there is at least three SPRIGG-HES
"Are you a boy or a girl?"
"I'm a Spriggan."
"Yeah, but what's between your legs?"
"Xyz Material."
