I like how even if he was in ikaris’ side, he didn’t try to stop them from putting tiamut to sleep. He didn’t want to argue and hurt the others because of his beliefs unlike ikaris. He just went away from them.
He wasn’t on Ikaris side neither was he on the other eternals side, he wouldn’t trade on any of them or want to fight them because they’re his family. Although he still believed in Arishem his beliefs alone still wasn’t enough to make him want to turn on any of his family no matter who was right or wrong so he completely removed himself from it so he wouldn’t have to pick sides.
What annoys me is that at the end of battle when all their eyes light up they don’t even show us him, they just wiped him out of narrative even though he was our only South Asian representation

I thought that he was one of the weakest ones because his powers seemed very insignificant compared to others. Even with Sprite. She had made illusions of multiple volcanoes at the end to throw them off. That’s impressive. The biggest thing that he did was have that charged shot. But I also forgot that the nature of his powers is insane and even though it’s nothing flashy or lengthy, he’s the only one consistently capable of attacking at a distance while dealing really powerful damage
His potshot finger gun is far weaker than ikaris, even his charged one is not as impressive as Ikaris's continued stream of death ray. Ikaris can destroy Domo, a ship that can withstand the temperature of the Sun surface. Kingo's finger gun is just weak
And I was surprised not a single intelligent creature had this doubt. I just felt like it was just lazy writing. I was actually hoping there one -on-one between ikaris and kingo

Ig its because of how weak it is compared to the other eternals. His powers are like star wars guns, its just like a regular gun but more powerful by only a few degree. When he charges, it's powerful indeed, but its taking too long; Ikaris' laser beam just becomes more appropriate.

I really find it unbelievable how so many people think Kingo "ran away from the fight instead of helping save humanity". Bruh. He's on Ikaris' side. He literally never stops expressing doubt about the whole plan throughout the movie. He doesn't want humans to be killed either but his sense of duty tells him it's wrong to stop the emergence. He walked away from the fight because 1) all the other Eternals combined don't stand a chance at beating Ikaris, so humans are already doomed, but 2) he also knows Sersi won't give up and decides the best he can do for humanity is to not stop Sersi and give her a better chance. Marvel gives us one of the best fleshed out characters and this is the hate he gets. Some of you seriously don't deserve quality writing.
Kingo's last line in this vid also sums up his character: You do not turn on your family. As he said so himself during the movie, he's on Ikaris' side but he's unwilling to harm the other Eternals - his family - for the sake of his beliefs. That's the main reason he said he's walking away.
The film never convinced me that Ikaris was that strong that he could beat the combined eternals. I feel like all the eternals together could easily kill him. I mean he almost died from the deviant.

Kingo is actually kinda decent in the MCU now, and I personally like how he is being auditioned in the main timeline in the MCU along with the other Eternals. I love the fact that they didn't take the cliche route of having Kingo return during the final battle. He left and never looked back because of what he believed in. Makes the characters more grounded.

Same goes for druig, I love his black outfit, and his powers, but, it’s hard to use him in the MCU, since it would be so easy to mind control an avenger, and cause chaos or mind control a villain and boom, fight scene end. We already get that with Wanda, plus she has other powers and still more we don’t know about, idk how they will fit druig in, maybe just kill him off?

It's so sad that Kumail Nanjiani spent months training and getting ripped in preparation for playing Kingo and they covered up his arms for most of the film and didn't even include him in the final battle.
