    This is awesome. You are skilled. I saw another guy on youtube doing a rwd monte carlo and he used an older grand prix subframe that was steel, he chopped the back end of the box of the subframe off so it was open toward the rear end and then located and welded his own cross bar farther forward in the subframe to work with his steering rack and then built motor mount pedastals. That way the subframe bolted in the stock location and used the stock struts and control arms.

      Got a couple of my buddies on board with helping build the channel. For just beginning with all this they're doing well. I'm excited to see how they improve!

    What’s the reasoning behind laying a few small beads instead of one large bead. I’ve noticed that on all the welds.

      Final welds will be done with 220 when everything is confirmed to be in an acceptable location. Some things may need changed along the way.
