In Sweden we rely more on natural ventilation, that's what the vent is. Which is really good for both the house and your healthy, at least here where the air quality is 👌it's adjustable so you can close it when it's very cold and instead air out when you clean or for example

When you're applying it, the noise sounds like what we call stucco in Florida, very sandy. Used on exterior walls here.
Great idea to not paint till the top of the walls, it lightens the feeling (if it means something 8)
