No word describe the beauty and impeccable taste, romantic feel and extravagance of this absolutely incredible chateau!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best I have seen yet.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most magnificent chateau! I'm speechless. Everything is exquisite! I can't even begin to imagine how much it cost to get it to this state. I'd love to know the history.
What a wonderful place. Too bad nobody lives there. It is so beautiful & could be even more beautiful if a family lived there & decorated it as a home. It needs to be loved.
Do you realize what heating costs would be and how expensive taxes for it would be? You would likely need several families living there to be able to afford it. And that means folks that can get along for the long term.
One of the most beautiful château I have ever seen. It must have cost a fortune to restore the three floors to this high degree. Even the basement is well restored.
PEOPLE!! fellow chateau lovers!! the Disney Castle in Florida was a depiction of the Bavarian Castle of King Ludwig's Neuschwanstein in the Alps of GERMANY!!!
I would like to get married just to be able to go there! (LOL) Seriously, what a gorgeous place and what and excellent presentation! Brilliant work. Congratulations!
I'm a big animal lover and the two taxidermy lions in the front hall, to me, are the ultimate in bad taste so that's as far as I've gone in this video.
It needs a very big family including 30-40 persons... Too much big for only a little family of 2-3 persons. If you die in a room on the edge of the building or something happens to you, it will take a few days for them to find you.
It's kept up in amazingly beautiful condition. The bedroom and bathroom situations are very odd. Assuming there was no choice but to situate some of the bathrooms as hallways into a bedroom. So odd to pass through a bathroom to get to into the main room or sinks & tubs next to the bed. Was there a shower room for all those bedrooms in the smaller house? They all seemed to have a toilet and sink in the bedroom but no tubs or showers. It's seems very French to put toilets and sinks in random places. I had always assumed it was out of necessity then I watched a renovation by Americans. All the rooms made sense. Complete bathrooms next to bedrooms, closets, kitchens that had counters, storage & full refrigerators (not mini bar fridges that hold next to nothing). One thing that is amazing is that this chateau is decorated beautifully. It doesn't have IKEA looking decor that seems so popular in Europe. The decor is elegant.
Keep in mind that these buildings in a lot of cases are built from stone and at a time when plumbing either wasn't a thing, or even in the "newer" châteaux, was definitely not plumbed to each room. The servants would collect the chamber pots and dispose of the contents in the sluice. What this means for anyone renovating a château, in order for each room or suite to have an ensuite, there needs to be an already existing antichamber. Wardrobes were situated in the bedrooms, so no closet spaces to turn into a toilet etc. You can't compare the ability to tear down a drywall wall to removing walls of stone, and that's IF they would even be allowed to, as many of these buildings are listed as heritage and are protected from that kind of thing. As a hotel or event location, many buyers are more concerned about the property, the aesthetic of the château exterior and the main common rooms over logical placement of toilets.
Это похоже на переделанный под отель замок ....поэтому такие странные туалетные комнаты ....но какое там отопление ? Я не увидела радиаторов ? Как отель да красиво ,как дом для жизни совершенно не функционален :) !
It is likely that this home is what they call "listed" overseas and modifications of the buildings that are is controlled by local municipalities so "updating" usually ends up being more of a refresh and often original materials have to be used and little (if anything) can be modified from its appearance.
Eugenia I feel so sorry that you let such a petty little item as his hat distract you from his post. I for one found this post informative & interesting.

@corricatt Thank you for correcting him. I caught that too.
You can stare out a different window of this house every day of the year lol

"And just imagine the beautiful bride and her entourage walking past the grand entrance to come upon the dead animal room..."
Uite în acest castel pot trăi zeci de familii într-o singură clădire!
how much will this castle costs?

Gorgeous Chateau! Who is this tacky guy with his silly hat? He really loves appetizers!! Does he own the Chateau or is he just a party planner?
Bahahaha!! He’s just awful
Is it for sale? And how far is it from paris ?
Cool hat, Don Quixote was stolen?
Is it for sale? It needs upgraded slightly without losing its heritage or charm with a big family at the helm to love and care for it x

Just a little mis-info...Walt Disney was inspired by Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, but this is gorgeous...
Wow!! I was wondering if it for sale?
I’ll find out if this is for sale, and if not, I can definitely find you one something similar
A very beautiful place but the presentation & filming sadly lacking!

Sure this wasn't the abandoned chateau that they brought back to life the last four years making it into a hotel/ wedding venue in France?
Having to walk through a bathroom to get to your bedroom is rather odd.
I can't do it with dead animals...so sad...they were so beautiful alive
