This geezer is just Built Different to the massive and crew. But yet so humble with it fact. Big respect to the editing and guy behind the cameras epic stuff as always. Big love Cee-Jay 👊🎣🎣🎣💙
Hit the nail on the head regarding silt mr Olly so many people avoid it and always try find that bar or hard spot personally i feel the fish can be warey of this so i fish the silt a foot or two infront of the bar or whatever and it has done me well same with islands most go with in a foot or two i do a rod length or two again it has done me well .. Keep up the great content team smashing it .
Almost goes without saying, due to the consistently high quality, but fantastic film. We’ll done to all concerned. The footage of the Kingfisher is stunning!
Everything was great on this one, Oli fished superbly, and the filming n editing was bang on, beautiful scenery and beautiful fish, solid 10/10 to all involved. 🙏☮️🙏
I use to be abit afraid of silt , then 15 years ago I joined an old estate lake syndicate that was the siltiest place on earth . I’ve still not found silt that bad anywhere else, but afyer a month or so of blanking i sussed it out and ended up doing well .
Nice one oli mate I fish in silt all the time on a canal venue same tactics as you but the carp are still evading me any tips I use long spinner rigs pined down with putty
40 years since I fished Birchgrove. It was a little fished day ticket water back then. The local farmer somehow always knew we were there and came to collect his 50p. As well as the carp there was some great roach fishing to be had. I’m not sure Birch is a natural mere like the others in the area. It’s much deeper than the surrounding meres with some history of brick making and stone extraction. Still an enjoyable film that brought back a few fond memories
Same here mate there are some amazing lakes round us. I was chatting to a guy on Ellesmere an he was saying it's a crazy place to get used to but definitely worth the challenge
Just love every video produced from Nash team, especially Ollie and Alan. Keep up the incredible videos always👍😊 also looking for advice on a clay bed for a hookbait I just don’t think the carp like pop ups as I used one on surface and the carp just swam under it or didn’t even bother looking at it. What would you use?
Thanks for the comment, we're glad you're enjoying the content! 🙌 As for a hookbait on clay, we'd initially opt for a Cultured Hookbait or a boilie straight out of the bag, something that sits on the bottom just the same as your free offerings! 😉 But each day is different and never rule out a single pop-up cast to a show!
I find Oli's vids very watchable....some presenters grate on me a bit but he has a down to earth approach and knows his stuff. also how many damn sections has he got for that Bushwhacker?!!
Might as well use a bait boat really i own both and trying to use the baiting pole while theres a slight chop on the water is pointless plus for the amount of poles he uses you could get 2 bait boats!
I don't get it, Nash is the most fanciest brand with the highest price tags and these fashion fisherman's putting their rods on the ground instead of using an pod what has been one of the most classic products ever in carp fishing. Wanna show a pod is not stylish nowadays. 😂😂😂😂 Mainthing is the purple hat.
Only about time we get some Oli Davies doing what he does best . Il be back at the end but I know this is going to be epic 🎣🎣🎣
This geezer is something else fact. The master of the Bushwacker and of catching epic carp. Big love and respect Cee-Jay 👊💙🎣🎣🎣
Big love CJ! Glad you enjoyed it! Proper Oli Davies this one 😉💯

Great to see Oli approach a water like Birch. 👏🙂👍
