Is that the California compliant variation of the stage 1 intake? I have not seen the mounting bracket on the left side of the engine with the other stage 1 intake
You are correct, this video is confusing, in nearly all applications there is no box on the left side of the bike. He has purchased the CA EPA compliant version, all other North American installs will not have the cartridge relocate, & others that installed the CA kit also did not do the relocate, there normally is no box in left side. Just figured it out when I went through the instructions mine came w/
Paul, great video. Question... i have the high flow filter when i bought it. Is there still an air filter under the tank or did this delete that? Thanks...
@@PaulArys I'm getting ready to install the stage one intake but I live in California how do we go about installing the two extra lines that go to the canister thanks in advance
Thanks for showing the left side. Indian never shows the left side of the bike when you're looking at this upgrade. It's ugly and not worth it in my opinion.
Is this some California junk? My stage 1 does not have a canister on the left side.

correct this is the cali compliant if you have the cool one you can skip the evap install and move directly to the air intake step.
id skip that part of the install.
Is there a way to modify the California compliant one, or is there even a difference on parwise pros and cons thanks
It restricts the airflow more. They drop in k&n is better
Tell us what else you don't know about...
Thanks for the video. I saw a Challenger with stage 1 air intake but that had no box on the left side?
Impossible it requires the intake for the extra air intake required!!!!

Hi I don’t have left bracket on my 2020 challenger also with stage 1 ????
Its only on California and exported models its emissions bs
Is there any issues if the evap is removed ?
No there is not I ended up removing it shortly after and it works great!!
It think it would look better painted white to match the bike. Maybe even blackout the chrome.
Billy Miles i would keep it black and def black out the chrome is my next move
About an hr install time?
I dɔ not have that tank that is an eye sɔrɔ on the leftside just got my bike is a 2020 challenger
Did you find the accessory kit installation manual helpful?
Yea it helped a lot
You said that you wanted to do cams too, I didnt know they put them out already!
They haven’t only rumors that it will be out this summer or maybe in April! I will have them as soon as they are in
Yep they are in🤘👊
Are the codes the same? Like can I use a different exhaust from say Rhinehart, and they just type the stage 1 exhaust code in?
No i believe they are different
Hi did you feel the bike he's powerful, I have victory cross country tour, I need to make sure b4 i buy it
It feels really powerful, surprising for the weight and size honestly you should try it!!!
10-12 hp from filter switch...... u must work for k&n, or indian.....🤔
supakamario it also comes with a retune code
@@PaulArys 12 hp on retune. How bad did they detune it...

Paul, great video. Question... i have the high flow filter when i bought it. Is there still an air filter under the tank or did this delete that? Thanks...
there is an airfilter under the tank since there is a second air entry in the front of the frame and the filter under the tank filters the air.
Nice. Thanks for sharing. Like you, I wish the left side was a bit less of an eye sore, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. :)
the power plus is a piece of plastic junk. The gasket is almost impossible to replace. Im looking for something different. I have a 2020 challenger.
Trade it for a 2022 Challenger.
Nice video.
Steve Lowry thanks more to come, crash bars, headlight, kst bars, sound system upgrade
Is it free for them to enter that code to tune it. Or is that extra. Great video
Depends on the relationship you have with your dealer, they charged me $20
@@PaulArys $20 is doable. Thanks man. Ride safe 🙏
122hp x .05 = 5.1hp
6.1, nice math.
@@teamsickspeed correct. I should really do math after I have gotten up instead of after a 15.5 hour day.
Right, he said 12hp increase, I doubt you'll get 5hp just from doing air intake mod.
Ah, I see, exhaust then flash the system for the extra hp.
$500 and you still have a stock ai filter in a horrible location. No thanks
i think you should ditch the cali version and buy a "normal" version..who wants to have a charcoal cannister hangin off their motor?
I remove the canister

I was able to remove the can by plugging the tube and remove the hole box
So much for do it yourself. Take it to the dealer for flash..$$$
They charged me $20 for the flash the code comes in the box it takes 15 min unless u have an Indian livences it can’t be done
@@PaulArys that's reasonable how did it run?
