The Einhell and Ozito power X change batteries are interchangeable. I have been using Einhell branded batteries in my Ozito tools for ages with absolutely no problem. If it wasn't for the Einhell sticker you wouldn't know the difference.
It's now 2023 and I got one of these. The bevel lock is now a piece of crap due to it not really locking it. The saw body can move through to 45° without unlocking it. I didn't force it and found out this happened when I was snapping the plastic guide in and was being careful doing it because the reviews all mention that it could be easily broken. I like that Ozito have a *5 year warranty* on all these 18V battery tools but only 3 years on tools that have the electrickery cable on them. The 18v battery only has a 3 year warranty and the are disportantly expensive compared to the mainstream brand ones. I hope you have done a video on the electric planer because I would like to get a spare set or two of the blades. Doing the _Special Orders_ through Bunnings make it seem that they are made from Unobtanium. I wanted to get a spare Collet(?) for the Multi-tool because if you dropped it it was as good as lots but a simple one piece pressed metal "washer" was going to cost $18 from them. End up getting 5 pieces of them on Ebay instead and paid $12. Then found out if I used attachments with the Standard fitting instead of the Universal one that I didn't need to use the Collett. 🤦♂
The kick back is caused by the wrong type of blade - it's teeth down which is designed for cutting laminates. For wood use blades with the teeth sticking up
Hmm, the Splinter Guard is made of rigid clear plastic easily broken. This flimsy accessory is given a mention near the video end. Reviewer said he broke the guard trying to install. Me too!
Great video. I’m in the Milwaukee, Ryobi, Ego and Ozito ecosystems and I’m just after a budget jigsaw for basic DIY cutting. It seems like the Ozito jigsaw is great for the price. I’ve just subscribed and I’ll be checking out your other videos. Looking forward to seeing more Ozito reviews.
Thanks for the comment, Yeah it’s a good little unit, I believe there is a new model coming soon, but if you can get your hand a on one of these it works great.. I’ve got Milwaukee and makita tools but still go to the Ozito more the others.. do have some more vids comin aswell... 👍🏻👍🏻
@@TREBORANDERSON A few years back Einhell bought the Ozito Brand and working with Bunnings gives them a great range of outlets across Australia without having to do much selling themselves. I have heard that anything in the Red range is an Einhell designed product.
I got the compact version of this and what? Excuse me? It cut through the test wood like *butter*, with the stock-standard blade. With. The. Standard. Blade. What even! Best jigsaw i bought~!
Hey mate... I haven’t yet.. however the compact is the newer model and has 2700spm which is faster than this model which has 2400spm. So it’d be worth a shot.
@@justbuildit686 Hey thanks for the reply, I really want to give it a shot but I want to sus out what they've done to make it $10 cheaper and the compact one includes an Allen key, which I don't like to use..
I picked up a near new one , still in the original box , at a car boot market. I think i payed $20 for it . Best 20 bucks i've ever spent .

Thanks for the heads up.. it’s great to know that they are interchangeable.. I wish all tools were like that ..!! 👍🏻
Made by the same people
Just bought one of these, looks tidy, and seems well up to the task.. I'm currently 3D printing an adapter for it to take my parkside x20v's
Your making an adapter, That’s sounds pretty cool .. those adapters are very handy.. hope it works out..!
Can adapters be made to go the other way ? So you can use a parkside tool with an ozito battery ?
@@tabtrade I 3D print mine, so the applications are endless 👍🏼
@@tabtrade I should also add, as long as the battery voltage matches the drill, +/- a few volts..
Great review, looks like another Ozito tool I need to put on my list. Thanks for your work.
True! The new blades definately make a big difference...

The edge is surprisingly smooth....
Cheers for the vid buddy. Got mine, like it. 👍

Aah! Thanks for the heads up.. I actually never new teeth down existed, and will probably never use teeth down again..

Sir, this blade position is not 90 degrees ( not straight) ?
Would of been nice to see a couple of shape cuts
I just purchased mine😊Thanks
💥 Bang! Enjoy.
Thanks for the review.

Just Build It awesome. Where did you hear that a new jigsaw was coming? I don’t want to buy the current model if it’s going to be replaced soon.
So the Einhel and Ozito power exchange batteries are interchangeable?
100%

Hi, Where can I purchase this item?
Hey mate at bunnings if your in Australia.. or overseas the brand is Einhell
Don’t think if they are interchangeable between Einhell and Ozito,to be honest I’ve never tried it... but they are the same build..
Just Build It hi there if you have an ozito circulars saw can you please do a review on it.
Anyone tried the compact one?

One handed videos just don't work:
I didnt bother watching it.
It's far easier when doing presentations, to use a tripod...
I agree, if you watched a little further in you would’ve noticed that used a tripod..
Thanks for feed back
