      I find the best way to write any character whether female or male, lesbian bisexual or gay is to write them as human beings. The problem with a lot of guys writing lesbian fiction is they tend to sex it up a lot but, I mean whatever. They can write whatever they like. Just saiyan.

    Val McDermid does have a mystery series where the main character is a lesbian, her Lindsay Gordon series. Lindsay Gordon is a Scottosh journalist and amatuer slueth/detective too.

    I don't think Mo Hayder is cosy at all. She writes about some very difficult subjects

      I'm pretty sure we said Mo Hayder is NOT cozy. I love some of her books, pretty dark.
