As someone who grew up going to the New Jersey Shore and has gone to Coney Island on trips as a kid, Brighton is a place that feels comforting and familiar to me. The beach, the amusement park (or fun fair like the Brits call it), everything reminds me of the Jersey Shore. It’s also such a beautiful place, I envy those that live there (also, one of my heroes, Nick Cave, lives there).
All the more reason to book a trip and rediscover old favourites and add new places to your list! So much has been added to the city in the last few years too (Shelter Hall being one of them - so great!) ♥️

I haven't been into Brighton since the start of the pandemic. I worked in the city centre but we're all working from home, now. I loved Petit Pois when we went for my boyfriend's 40th. The staff were super kind and gave him birthday macarons to celebrate. The Tee Time bubble tea place must be new and now I want to head back in for a day to try it out! If anyone wants budget Japanese food, but not sushi, more the sort of things people might make at home, then look for Pom Poko in the lanes.

Brighton is a pandatastic place. I haven't been there in many years though. Nice to know sushi garden and a few other favourite haunts of mine are still there. I'd love to revisit Brighton some day. Maybe as a day trip when I eventually visit London.🐼🐼

When youre there next time you might explore the one and only spanish tapas restaurant "casa don carlos" . I lived 10 years in brighton, this was our favourite place to eat, cozy familiar athmosphere, great tapas. Check it out ;)

I’d say it can range from cheap eats to moderate depending on where you go! Lots of smaller eateries offering affordable options to restaurants that are more splurgey!

I actually lived in Brighton for about 8 year's but didn't appreciate it. This video has definitely made me want to revisit and explore the city.
