- Winter Garden Florida is a big place! To get from the North side to the very bottom of 34787 (the biggest Winter Garden zip code) will easily take you 25-35 minutes depending on the time of day. That's why in the past we've broken it up into different videos! Well today I thought we'd do an exhaustive tour from downtown Winter Garden to Ovation and Flamingo Crossing!

I moved to Wintergarden 5 yrs ago nothing better than being right around the corner from Disney, just go pop in and have dinner at Disney springs.
Built a home here a year ago. Except for the traffic and the Horseshit 25mph Marsh Road. I love it. DID I MENTION IM LAKE COUNTY WINTER GARDEN THANK GOD!!

Winter Garden is the best city in Florida, no question about it. My wife has lived here all of her life. And we've lived here together for 20 years. The community is amazing with so many recreational activities (for runners, cyclists, walkers, roller bladers, etc.) Like you said, any store you need is right nearby, downtown Orlando isn't a long drive, yet it still feels like a small town. We are glad to see that they are getting more restaurants --- that's the one thing that needs to expand and hopefully will continue to do so. If you find a house that you can afford in Winter Garden, don't think twice! I can't even imagine what property values are going to do in this area.
Winter Garden is amazing, and thanks for hooking us up with Bree she’s great any question we had she had the answers . And the best part she made my wife at ease buying a new home thank again
Winter Garden used to be soooooo "country". Mostly orange groves. Now it's completely different!! I appreciate this

I lived in Ocoee for a couple of years and I saw the whole area exploding with new builds, new roads, a huge hospital, I regret not buying a home there back in 2018 when I first came to FL.
Hi Ken, I really enjoyed your video. I live in Winter Garden and you are absolutely right, it is a great place to live. I did not, however, agree with your comment about Stoneybrook West. Most houses are not old and in need of repairs. We have a great HOA that keeps up with the maintenance of the off properties and does not hesitate to send a "warning" if your property is not well kept. Many of the houses were built from 2013 on. Come in to our neighborhood and see for yourself next time you drive by.
Love it - we're building in Oakland Park now and very excited to make the move. (probably a summer 2023 finish)

Great video! Can you provide information on schools ratings and specifically if there are STEM schools and what neighborhoods are close to them?
Love how much development is going on and the proximity to the parks! How walkable/bikeable are these areas?
Downtown is super bikeable/walkable. Horizon West I would say is bikeable, but a little too spread out to be walkable.
Where is the pop stroke going ? I thought it was going to be on Hamlin Groves down from Walmart ?? I love all the new building coming to Hamlin
How do you see home values going in the area speficially downtown WG area? We are thinking about selling our house to get something a little bigger w/ a pool and luckily we bought in the in the golf cart district over 3 years ago so have some good equity. Definetly worry about spendning 500-700k on a house only for the bottom to fall out.

I live in Ocoee but it’s too small. Drove through Wintergarten the other day and was surprised how many homes they were building and shopping plazas. It’s massive.

My family and I are just starting to look at areas we’d be interested in moving to. Considering how quickly the area is growing, do you feel like winter garden can accommodate the expansion? Like the commutes and congestion, employment opportunities, etc. Love your videos by the way!!!

I love seeing so many great comments about how awesome Winter Garden is because this is where I’m moving next year! But I’m having a hard time finding a good preschool for my 3 year old. Does anyone have recommendation on good preschools in the Winter Garden/ Horizon West area? We prefer Montessori but we are open to all.

Saturdays were great as I could listen while I’m doing the yardwork but the mid week was also great as we cleared some time right after dinner.
Both seem to work great but if I had to lean in one direction I would say the mid week.
On another note thanks so much for all the videos, that’s what got us interested in Celebration and we just closed on Friday with your amazing agent Riley! 100% top-notch and satisfied! Recommending her to our friends who are looking at the area as well.

@@kenpozek I read about it in 2016. Sure its fell through but was going to be new practice facility for Solar Bears at one point. Just figured I would ask with hopes. Fingers crossed maybe to see it in the future!

Thanks! Short term rentals aren’t allowed in WG other than The Grove resort. Which is a condo-tel down by 192. Not the best investment. I’d go reunion, west Kissimmee or championsgate

Looking to relocate from MA. My husband is a manager in the service dept of a car dealership. Are there many dealerships around this area? This is the location I really want to explore.
Not so much in Horizon West but up and down 50 in winter garden and Clermont there’s a bunch

What is the price range for brand new homes and forclosure home sin winter garden?
I haven’t seen a foreclosure in years. Usually those get bid up by people looking for a deal. New homes range from 500k+

At time stamp 6:51, and that whole segment (the "Hamlin Area"), you have purposefully cut the huge Walmart out of the shot... and never make any reference to it... why?! Is this not also considered part of that zip code, that "unincorporated" area you alluded to earlier in the video... or am I getting a little confused here... Walmart is a major tax staple and merchant, is it not... hmmm... was just wondering... Oh, and I am one of those "true Winter Garden people." My first trip to the Magic Kingdom: 1974... ((Florida Native, USF grad.)). BTW Publix is nice... but I am certain there are far more people living in the area that frequent that Walmart.
Winter Garden needs to paint their water tower. It looks like one from an old, tired town not an up and coming community.

Yeah but I don't think most people pay close attention. I haven't heard any specifics, seems this move was made before anyone tried to figure out how to handle it.

@@kenpozek That's awesome. A lot of people get really impressed with how much variety and culture we have in the Orlando metro specially with its size. We can be very comparable with some of the largest metro with things to do, quality of life and infrastructure.
