We are just glad she has a youtube! She deserves more subscribers and views for all the cool work and projects she does instead of just showing off and being a typical “girl”. Cassie is impressive and inspiring
As a firearms instructor, that mount is the worst thing you can use for many reasons. Carry on your body and practice drawing or don't carry. Your "clock" becomes a projectile in the event of a crash, makes for an easy target if you leave it by accident, and allows easy access to it. Part of being an armed individual is being responsible for your "clock" at all times and keeping it inaccessible to anyone who should have access to it. Also, remember it's better to have the element of surprise, this is why most people conceal carry rather than open carry. Having it visible make you a target. Not trying to be rude but y'all were worried about your little ones accidently putting the Jeep in park or drive with the shifter, which is why you didn't bypass the lockout, but you're ok with the "clock" on a magnet under the steering wheel? Carry on your body and practice drawing from in the Jeep or don't carry. Pick up a Mantis X and a DryFire Mag, toss a few targets up around the garage and you can practice all day/night long without wasting any freedom seeds.
Totally respect everything you are saying here, and I agree. But it won’t be living on that magnet mount… it will only be there occasionally and not when my kids are around. Sorry I didn’t specify exactly how when and where it will be located at all times, mounted on the magnet or not. And yeah….. I am concerned if my kids are sitting in the driveway or out wheeling and accidentally hit the shifter with their leg🤷🏻♀️
Consider a cross-draw outside the waist band rather (much more comfortable) than an exposed attached to interior. Always available and always with you.
You should park your cars at an angle, kinda like a parking lot. That's what we do. Keeps one side clear for driving through and then you have access to pull out any vehicle at any moment without moving another vehicle.
My recommendation for the placement of your personal protection device is to always keep it in holster that covers the trigger and keep it on your person and not mounted anywhere in your vehicle.
With my seat bolstering it is very uncomfortable, and I couldn’t draw it quickly while wearing a seatbelt. But outside of the vehicle I agree 100%. So I’m considering this.
LONG ARM DIY KIT!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!! So excited to see this...I am ordering the SAME kit in 2 weeks and I can not wait to put it on my TJ...Looking forward to seeing your build. Give good notes as I am going to be following in detail
I don't know about the whole gun thing in the Jeep... I'd go with a ring mount with an MG3. An M2 would be nice but the MG3 is more aerodynamic and lighter so it won't adversely affect the fuel economy as much. You're welcome.
This channel just popped up on my feed and I’m glad it did. Amazing video. Looking forward to watching more of their content. I would like to see how the lights look at night on the Jeep.
Good call on the clock mount…especially considering your geography. My wife uses a similar mount for her timepiece behind the headboard. Extra peace of mind!
If you dont keep a lot of stuff in your center console, try the magnet on the front end of the inside of the center console. Use come carriage bolts so there is nothing to scrape on the outside of the console.
Yeah TJ shocks in stock mounts are pretty much limiting straps with lifts under 5" especially in the rear. I banged out the essentials and outboarded the rear and raised the front towers. I dig your DIY highlines I did the same!
Thanks for showing even the little upgrades or replacements like the stable bushings. I had been looking for some and was even at a point of trying to make some. Love the channel. By any chance would you know where I can the gaskets for the door handles for the Tj.
mount the gun magnet on the dominate hand side. You do not want to be trying to change hands in a crisis. I have mine mounted just where you were pointing on the right side. By the way, I am 61 and have been shooting for 45 years. Also love your content just as much as Lite Bright.
Only thing I don’t like about the pod light bracket being there is I’d be afraid of two things. 1 the wire from the light can possibly get ripped into the ujoint from crawling through mud. 2 flexing will look ugly with wires running across the axle n up. But that’s just me. But I hope you like it. Awesome video as always
Dominant side right where you had it. I think the steering column should block your clock nicely. Don't think you need to worry about it being seen. If it's there, you're there. Besides its going to be pretty visible from the passenger side anyhow.
Mounting location suggestion for the "Clock 19" magnetic mount....Right in the garbage. IMHO it is a bad idea for a number of reasons. * Magnet could fail and your clock is now on the floor out of reach. maybe under gas or brake pedal=not good * Mount does not have trigger protection=not good * When exiting your vehicle you would need to either re-holster(risky with one in the pipe, and can be a pain in the butt), or store your clock in a lockbox. * When in a vehicle it is generally a better idea to have your "force multiplier" on your person and under your complete control at all times. Think of situations that may require you to exit the vehicle in a hurry...one more thing to have to grab. You may need a free hand for one of the kids etc. Also you will be less likely to forget it in the vehicle/out in the open. * A good holster should allow you to comfortably carry while driving and with your seatbelt fastened. Your clock will always be in the same place(which is good) and the trigger will always be protected unless you need to un-holster(very important). Just a few observations. We train vehicle work regularly and in training exercises the outcome is always more favorable when drawing from a holster :-) LOVE your videos!! Keep up the good work!!
The game y’all were talking about is “death cup” because the very middle cup is just a mix of anything somebody wanted to put in it 😂 I’ve tasted some weird things playing that game
I'd say right mount. The threat will come from the door side, so I'd want it as far away from there as possible in case they reach in or get the door open
I have a way to hold my edc in my jl…I’m a lefty but I have it near my right knee just so if I had to I could aim it at a suspect quicker with my right hand. I can send a picture of what I have if needed/wanted.
Lots of districts will not allow you to run tires larger than the wheel housing and tires must be fully covered by the flares. Check your area for legalities.
Hey guys. I absolutely love your vids. Very informative and I have a JK too (07). I want the hemi swap!!! Maybe someday. I thinks it’s funny you guys wear Crocs too. I love mine. I’ve got 140,000 on my 3.8. Hopefully it will last a lot longer without any issues. Just reheated to 4.88 and e-locker. This has really helped me get up these mountains in Colorado. Live in Bailey which is outside of Denver. So far I love it here !!! Just giving a shout out to y’all. Keep up the good work and hope to see more killer videos!! Ps love that LJ too. Bad to the bone with the LS swap.
Great video Cassie! Tell Ben to check out GateKeeper Off-road. They make pod light mounts for 1 tons, and their mounts still allow for greasing ball joints. I do love MPS products, but the GK’s offered a better location IMO for clearance and maintenance.
Your TJ looks great and with new shocks it would be smoother off-road. My jimny all grip isn't as fancy as your TJ with good shock, steel rim with 30 inch tyre but it's a fun little off roader. Have never driver a wrangler, so would love to drive one of your jeeps even if it's only for 5 mins.
Adjust your nitrogen pressure and your Fox Shocks would have been for your Jeep! Needs to be done by a shop normally, but still cheaper than new quality shocks.
i have been trying to figure out the same question for my magnet mount. I came to the conclusion that a side mount magnet and the speaker pod above your head. is the best place. There is no other place that I could figure out as a 6'5" male. would love to know where you end up putting it. Thank you for the content on the LJ there is very few left.
Oil catch can: All I have to say is I have one on my 2016 V6 Colorado and Subaru Crosstrek. They don’t really catch any oil. After several thousand miles, I open them up and nothing. Not really catching any oil. Either there is no oil to catch or they are not working or a gimmick for a non gas direct injection engine.
your vulcan can only go on drivers side. You need to have complete control of your weapon. (As stated with most carry laws) If you put it on the passenger side the passenger will be able to have more control than the owner
I bought same mount for my 2016 jku far as lights I bought 1 inch motorcycle pod lights . And question ? Far as catch can on 2016 jku seen ones have look like air filter on Amazon your thoughts on those compaired to non filtered version.
Dumb question, I have Bilstein 5125s on my Samurai and they are installed with the shock shaft on bottom. I seem to recall somewhere that it was recommended that way. Does it really matter? You guys put the shock body on the bottom.
Cassie should have a real TV show. Very camera friendly.
No kidding! She’s the most gorgeous woman on YouTuba and you can’t convince me otherwise. She would be awesome on a car show on TV.
She use to remind me of Stephanie Abrams from the weather channel but Stephanie is not ageing well. Cassie is much prettier and younger. 😎
We are just glad she has a youtube! She deserves more subscribers and views for all the cool work and projects she does instead of just showing off and being a typical “girl”. Cassie is impressive and inspiring
Always a good thing to have a proper "clock" and a place to keep it. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

i dont own a jeep but its cool to seethe vids !... Hats off to a lady who knows her tools and how to use them..
Consider a cross-draw outside the waist band rather (much more comfortable) than an exposed attached to interior. Always available and always with you.
The “clock” mod earned my like and subscribe. Cool projects!
You should park your cars at an angle, kinda like a parking lot. That's what we do. Keeps one side clear for driving through and then you have access to pull out any vehicle at any moment without moving another vehicle.

Bingo

My brother lived in Brownsville for years so I know why you want the quickdraw, I just ziptied a holster to my ebrake handle an works great
I don't know about the whole gun thing in the Jeep... I'd go with a ring mount with an MG3. An M2 would be nice but the MG3 is more aerodynamic and lighter so it won't adversely affect the fuel economy as much. You're welcome.
😂😂😂
I have a magnet for my "clock" on the backside of my console.
In my jk I mounted it between the 4wd gearshift and the 6 speed gear shift. Very accessible an it blends in.
Those seat bushings are great! Have been using them for a couple years now.
The best tip I ever got from this channel was the paracord door stop strap! awesome tip Thanks again for that one!
No need to hide the “hole puncher” in this part of the country, they don’t scare us!
Doesn’t scare this Hawai’i resident either. A bunch of residents here probably would be. I’m trying to get to a 2A free state. Molon Labe
That drinking game is called Rage Cage , and it's a blast!!!
This channel just popped up on my feed and I’m glad it did. Amazing video. Looking forward to watching more of their content. I would like to see how the lights look at night on the Jeep.
I love the magnet. But in Texas it is illegal because the trigger has to be covered. Just google it and you will see. But love what u do keep it up.
Left or right handed? That should determine where the mount goes.
Love the fact that she's running the True Jeep (TJ)
Yes indeed, the TJ is the last true generation of Jeep and with apologies to the CJ-7, my second favorite Jeep, the TJ is the best.
Really looking forward to the longarm install video!!!
I’m running the same magnet for my clock 19. It works fine on the right side of the steering wheel.
Cassie the trick to using those ramps is to use your emergency brake so not to lock the front brakes so much
Good call on the clock mount…especially considering your geography. My wife uses a similar mount for her timepiece behind the headboard. Extra peace of mind!
If you dont keep a lot of stuff in your center console, try the magnet on the front end of the inside of the center console. Use come carriage bolts so there is nothing to scrape on the outside of the console.
Sweet! I'm working on my Barnes Long Arm kit now! Can't wait to see it!
Added our pew pew mount inside the center console.
The 13 dislikes are for those folks who don't like having "Clocks" in their car. lol.
I prefer the JCR molle side console piece to run a holster for the pew pew.
Omg I have been looking for the seat bushings for a long time with no luck. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
rage cage. a staple in college party games.
On the dash right above the transfer case shifter is where mine works.
Love it, love it, love it!!!
As a Mainland Chinese, thrilled to know Jeep is now partly owned by Dongfeng of China 🇨🇳
Cassie it was called rage cage and we gotta play again sometime. 😂
You will love that kit. I run it on my TJ although you may want to consider outboarding the rear shocks with it, big difference
Should be even easier for her to outboard the rears with that wider JK axle.
Yeah TJ shocks in stock mounts are pretty much limiting straps with lifts under 5" especially in the rear. I banged out the essentials and outboarded the rear and raised the front towers. I dig your DIY highlines I did the same!
Dominant hand side of course. Glad to see it's a Glock. 👍🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks for showing even the little upgrades or replacements like the stable bushings. I had been looking for some and was even at a point of trying to make some. Love the channel. By any chance would you know where I can the gaskets for the door handles for the Tj.
Pod mounts ... BADASS !!
Looking forward to the Barns long arm setup!! Wanting to do my LJ some day!!!
mount the gun magnet on the dominate hand side. You do not want to be trying to change hands in a crisis. I have mine mounted just where you were pointing on the right side. By the way, I am 61 and have been shooting for 45 years. Also love your content just as much as Lite Bright.
Damn.. got a bad ass jeep and she's. Packing lol.... gotta be now days wirh all the crap going on in the world...
Love your Jeep girl! And it’s awesome to watch another couple have fun in the garage!
I think it wouldn’t even be noticeable in a jk, you would just run the wire along the wheel speed sensor and brake line.
@@JeepGearGadgets wow. I’m not thinking. Hahahahaha so true. 🤷🏻♂️ 👍🏻
Those light brackets are going to rattle and drive you insane....
Thanks for the vid
Ben walks in like a gangster. Scene!
Dominant side right where you had it. I think the steering column should block your clock nicely. Don't think you need to worry about it being seen. If it's there, you're there. Besides its going to be pretty visible from the passenger side anyhow.
You might see if the laws changed for the magnet pew pew holder . They were not legal here in Texas
if they are not legal it is for good reason...they are a horrible idea IMO
Mounting location suggestion for the "Clock 19" magnetic mount....Right in the garbage. IMHO it is a bad idea for a number of reasons.

When Cassie knocked the bushing out of his hands was priceless!
Damn I’m getting old… it’s hard to keep up with your upgrades it looks amazing
That’s called stack cup, super fun game
tucker light for jeep cool.
I'd say right mount. The threat will come from the door side, so I'd want it as far away from there as possible in case they reach in or get the door open
I have a seat bracket mount for my S&W in my JKU
Look into jcr the have a panel that mounts the the center console of the tj and you can put a holster on it
I have a way to hold my edc in my jl…I’m a lefty but I have it near my right knee just so if I had to I could aim it at a suspect quicker with my right hand. I can send a picture of what I have if needed/wanted.
Lots of districts will not allow you to run tires larger than the wheel housing and tires must be fully covered by the flares. Check your area for legalities.
@Ben, from what he has told me, GateKeeper IS coming out with Super Duty pod mounts eventually for people like us 😅
The beer game is called Chandelier!!!
And on the topic of quick draw, I just keep mine in my holster on my body.
Hey guys. I absolutely love your vids. Very informative and I have a JK too (07). I want the hemi swap!!! Maybe someday. I thinks it’s funny you guys wear Crocs too. I love mine.

Ps love that LJ too. Bad to the bone with the LS swap.
Ayyye I love the clock attachment I’m about to get that one too!!
Bens glasses are awesome!!! Lol
Now we need some videos on the clock 1900! 😁
I recommend keeping the clock on your body in the holster :(

Was wondering if you guys have a rev page for your builds and what it was? Great content also
Your TJ looks great and with new shocks it would be smoother off-road. My jimny all grip isn't as fancy as your TJ with good shock, steel rim with 30 inch tyre but it's a fun little off roader. Have never driver a wrangler, so would love to drive one of your jeeps even if it's only for 5 mins.
My gun magnet is above my right leg in my Yota. Works great.
Hey its ronnie!! Lol. Good job as always guys. Keep up the good content .
Adjust your nitrogen pressure and your Fox Shocks would have been for your Jeep! Needs to be done by a shop normally, but still cheaper than new quality shocks.
Mount your clock on the driver side 😆

Hopefully this new shocks work for you.
You played Boom! Cup!
Quite curious how much money has been spent on this Jeep starter kit?
Rage cage 🤣 only the real ones know
That's it, I will see you guy's next time.........................What???? Where is the "My name is Cassie keep Jeepin Classy"! LOL. Love the videos!
How is it you know so much about vehicles?
I like the way Ben thinks ,do a little work and drink some beers, or better yet let cassie do all the work and ben drink beer!! Lol!!🤙
You guys should get a Bronco and beat the shit out of it and review it. I’m honestly pretty impressed with it.
Nice work!
your vulcan can only go on drivers side. You need to have complete control of your weapon. (As stated with most carry laws) If you put it on the passenger side the passenger will be able to have more control than the owner
Everything's for sale! Come buy my things! lol
Great video as always!
Driver side on the right
Dam you guys are busy!
What is the weather stripping on the hood? I need that!
Do you mind telling us what those LED pod lights are called on Amazon?
Put it on the strong side. You're right handed so the right hand side.
I bought same mount for my 2016 jku far as lights I bought 1 inch motorcycle pod lights . And question ? Far as catch can on 2016 jku seen ones have look like air filter on Amazon your thoughts on those compaired to non filtered version.
Mount on dominant hand side. Not passenger side though
In Texas if you are carrying a pew pew in the car it must be concealed.
Dumb question, I have Bilstein 5125s on my Samurai and they are installed with the shock shaft on bottom. I seem to recall somewhere that it was recommended that way. Does it really matter? You guys put the shock body on the bottom.
I would never run that mod to hold my pistol. What's wrong with center console, or under the seat?
TacMag on the passenger side :)
Hi there, love the build...did you do a highline mod to the front fenders?
The previous owner did it. Its a DIY factory fender highline.
