To be honest, this wasn't their best performance by any means. It was clear that something was off; maybe they had some audio issues with their earpiece, maybe they cracked under stress, we'll never know. It sucks that whatever made them slip up had to happen on a TV show in front of millions of people, but that's just how it happened and it's really beside the point anyway. In the race of life, it doesn't matter if you fall or get tripped, you still have to get back up on your feet and how well you do THAT is what makes you a superstar. These guys have tons of other videos on RUclips better than this one, so it's clear this was an aberration. They just need to get some rest, have a drink, clear their head and move on. We'll see them back and better than ever in no time.
Love their enthusiasm but they can't sing and while many here seem to praise their dance, it's not that great either actually. They lack finesse overall as a performer.

Problems are inherent in any tournament. I'm a Travis Japan fan, but I don't think they dropped out just because of acoustic probkem. I think the every judges know best when it comes to problems. However, TravisJapan showed a very good performance. We love your songs and dances. Thank you for always making me happy. Let's take one step at a time together.

K-Pop idols are trained very hard in bad conditions in order to be as perfect as possible when they debut. It’s very impressive and explains why the groups are so amazingly talented but I can still say that these people are going through a lot (?) No wonder why there are sadly so many harassment and suicide headlines in this industry… Many J-Pop idols debut when they are not perfect because there’s a huge storytelling of fans helping them to improve and evolve together. Just look at how Travis Japan apologize and promise to train more. That’s how the industry makes the fans think they’re part of the journey. J-Pop idols are also expected to be very good at entertainment, variety shows, etc. The criteria are just different, no one is better than the other. K-Pop idols debut as already perfect singers and dancers, and J-Pop idols debut as people willing to give their best. It’s just different, no need to compare them.

Honestly, i couldn’t hear what each members sang, only i heard ‘party crazy’ repetitively. AGT is a competition. If you can’t sing then focus on dancing instead.
I will have to say that it sounded like their mics where not right…they were to low compared to the background music and was drowning them out…you couldn’t hear their solos…I think they were getting feedback too
The only opinion that matters when it comes tp musical acts is Simon as far as I'm concerned. Very interesting response from Simon but he is right. Technical difficulties aside they just need to work on their presentation, more confidence & better song choices. Hope they come back next year with more experience in hand as Simon gets it!!
@Tyler Hunt I could care less how famous they are in Japan. This performance was subpar, and if you're going to complete at this level. You better bring your A game. Simon was fair and clearly saw potential in them. That is more then I can say for others here. I hope they return next year. :)

If only you guys watch their other LIVE performances, they’re not like this. They always give smooth & amazing performance! Travis Japan is one of the best boy groups for me. They’re really incredible singers & dancers at the same time. I mean it’s hard to do that, but they always manage to give a wonderful performance. I think it’s because of their nervousness & technical issues. I know their style isn’t everyone’s favorite, BUT they do not suck and do not deserved that buzzer. I liked everything that Simon said. That’s a good kind of judging there. KEEP GOING, TRAJA! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you notice the challenging glint in their eyes the moment the buzzer sounded? They've learned the spirit of show-must-go-on for a decade, and they're strong in the face of adversity, so they don’t quit performing just because the buzzer goes off. Keep on going, Travis Japan!

I'm a fan of theirs, so why the buzzer? I thought. However, I think what the judges are saying is correct, and I think they take it seriously. So I want you to show me a perfect performance again! I want to prove they are great!
Travis Japan have very good vocals and I've seen them in concerts before to know they can sing extremely well, I think the problem were the microphones rather than their voices. They're very good singers

I love K-Pop, I am not trying to make it down in any way. But we need to know the differences between what the industries expect from K-Pop and J-Pop idols.
K-Pop idols are trained very hard in bad conditions in order to be as perfect as possible when they debut. It’s very impressive and explains why the groups are so amazingly talented but I can still say that these people are going through a lot (?)
No wonder why there are sadly so many harassment and suicide headlines in this industry…
Many J-Pop idols debut when they are not perfect because there’s a huge storytelling of fans helping them to improve and evolve together. Just look at how Travis Japan apologize and promise to train more. That’s how the industry makes the fans think they’re part of the journey. J-Pop idols are also expected to be very good at entertainment, variety shows, etc.
The criteria are just different, no one is better than the other. K-Pop idols debut as already perfect singers and dancers, and J-Pop idols debut as people willing to give their best. It’s just different, no need to compare them.

I will have to say that it sounded like their mics where not right…they were to low compared to the background music and was drowning them out…you couldn’t hear their solos…I think they were getting feedback too

The only opinion that matters when it comes tp musical acts is Simon as far as I'm concerned. Very interesting response from Simon but he is right.
Technical difficulties aside they just need to work on their presentation, more confidence & better song choices. Hope they come back next year with more experience in hand as Simon gets it!!
Yo this group is super famous professional singers in japan at the top level. They are praised in Japan. They don’t think they need practice maybe.
@Tyler Hunt I could care less how famous they are in Japan. This performance was subpar, and if you're going to complete at this level. You better bring your A game. Simon was fair and clearly saw potential in them. That is more then I can say for others here. I hope they return next year. :)

前回の夢ハリはスピーチから始まって曲までストーリー仕立てになってましたし、「We are in Hollywood！」で締めくくったので、何をしにハリウッドに来たのかといえばパーティじゃなくてショーだと思います。
なので「The show」を歌うのだと思ってました。「i'm back here」でみんな卒倒するのだろうし、長いこと待たせたね、僕も待ってたよでメロメロになる。

If only you guys watch their other LIVE performances, they’re not like this. They always give smooth & amazing performance! Travis Japan is one of the best boy groups for me. They’re really incredible singers & dancers at the same time. I mean it’s hard to do that, but they always manage to give a wonderful performance. I think it’s because of their nervousness & technical issues. I know their style isn’t everyone’s favorite, BUT they do not suck and do not deserved that buzzer. I liked everything that Simon said. That’s a good kind of judging there.

それを考えると、勿論彼らはジャニーズに居るから出来る事であり事務所には充分感謝はしているでしょうが、自分達でやる限界を少し感じた様な気がします。

honestly the judges are right, but Travis Japan has SOOOO much potential that with some more work, they can take the world by storm. I mean it's bad that the song and vocals were poor, but they damn well know how to dance and dazzle us regardless 😍. Don't give up Travis Japan! You will do great in the future!

Nah. Ppl will compare them with kpop groups like bts and its not a nice one. Thrs a reason y jpop nvr flourish outside its country lol. They shld have make a signature style to set themselves apart from the mainstream. Their audition actually did that.
Despite the fact that singing is the most important act for boybands, half of their singing was lip-syncing.

やたら大きなバックの演奏とほとんど声が拡声してないようなマイクの響き方は
そうしておく必要があったからではないかな？。
私達はトラジャの部分しか見せられてないけど通しでは誰が前に歌ってたのかな？マイクがいらないくらい大声で演奏音をかきけすような人が歌う場合、演奏音量最大にしてマイクは最低にしますよね。(誰とはいいませんが心当たりのカ同日出演)次のトラジャの時にはノーマルポジションに戻さなくては行けないのにトイレに行ってる間に次が始まってしまった！途中でいじれないからそのまま放置。なんか音楽大きくて声ちっさくない？と思ってもこんなものかと受け入れる観客。声量のない連中なんだなと思う動画視聴者。でもブザー音のバカでかさが普通でなく音声何か変だと気づかれはじめてしまってあわてた担当者。半日以内に動画音声バランス調節したのか今は最初より声が大きく聞こえます。(でもこのチャンネルは最初のままです。)
現場見てないので仮説にすぎませんがあり得そうですよね？嫌がらせでないだけましですなっ！

世界に通用するトラジャの良さが全然出ていない。AGTに合わせた、世界への見せ方を研究すべき。ほんともったいない。前回、なぜ、好評を得たのか、分かっていない。また前回とWODで見せた気迫ほどではなく、日本でのライブと同じパフォーマンス。４位と９位を取ったことで心に少し隙があったのでは？がむしゃらに取りに行くカンジではなかった。
日本人だってジャニーズを全国民が支持してるわけではないので、海外では馴染みのないこういうスタイル
受け入れがたい人だっているのは仕方ない。
でも彼らに付加価値があるとしたらこのキラキラアイドルスタイルだろうから貫いてほしいです。

솔직히 한국에선 저런 반짝이 옷입고 저런 안무추고 저런 노래부르는게 영유아 앞에서 재롱떨거나 개그소재로 나올법해서
보면서 웃겼거든요. 진짜 칼군무에 춤 잘추는데 저런 안무추는게 촌스럽다 느껴지거든요. 일본에선 저게 멋있고 굉장한 퍼포먼스인거 잖아요. 딱봐도 안무는 연습 많이했고 기본적으로 춤 잘추는 분들인거 보이는데 안무 내용이 한국사람 입장에선 촌스러운 개그느낌의 무대? 음 진짜 문화 차이로 다르게 느낄수 있다는걸 크게 느꼈습니다. 한국인들 보여주면 아마 저처럼 보면서 웃고 그다음엔 화냈을겁니다. 아니 이렇게 열심히하고 잘추는 애들 데려다놓고 촌스러운옷 입히고 촌스러운 안무짜서 시켰는지. 애들 왜 웃음거리만드냐? 진짜 화낼듯.ㅜㅜ
