I never knew that either. It’s crazy how your artistic style comes through in etch a sketches too! Like, I figured that it would be more blocky and less detailed but as usual, Peter finds a way to take something ordinary and make it extraordinary.

Yeah! Awesome one, love how it starts off in my head as tiny circuits and becomes a vast industrial city.

I'm sorry, Peter, but I refuse to believe there aren't many, many small people in there working hard responding to your every twist and turn of the knobs to make your drawing become reality. Let's hear it for all the hard working little folks!

There's something about the impermenance of the Etch-a-Sketch that makes it almost more special and valuable to use it to create something that will ultimately be shaken away.

Henry Ambrose Ya. If you really want to keep the art, you either have to give up or leave it on a shelf and never touch it again.

This has given me an idea, moreover a challenge for you, peter. i think you should try Rubik cube art. get a white Rubik cube and doodle on each side, but over time, turn the sides to where you can continue drawing something completely new until each side of the cube is done.

My inner mechanic scraped about an inch square clear... big enough to see the inner workings and the cone-shaped scraper and little rods attached to this magical thing, and the silver powder that eventually leaked out from around the knobs- possibly aluminum powder or hopefully not mercury...

Peter, I wonder if a tiny metal ball inside instead of the gears and dials and using a magnet on the end of a stylus would work the same but with more freedom. I wish you a happy holiday. I'm very sick these days but I'll be better. Happy New Year 2018. Hugs!
