Skydio drone tracking dog manually in desert sand dunes

While flying my Skydio 2+, I tried using motion tracking to track my dog Casey. The automated tracking wouldn't work. Occasionally it would lock onto her, but not for long. So I was trying to track her manually. The piloting was a little rough since this was my second time using the controller.
These sand dunes are in my usual playground area in BLM on the southside of Pahrump. I was recording audio with an Instamic on Casey's collar.
