It’s probably my favorite looking / designed digital piano. Fantastic product. I wish I still had one, I’m planning to purchase it soon (this was a loaner). You mean having wooden buttons on the actual piano to match the wooden legs? Or you mean the sides of the keys?
@ same! Wishing I had the budget for one but maybe next time 🙂 And yes the buttons and knobs! I think it'd be super cool to have them be more tactile and more wooden
Glad of this review from a user of what it really sounds like in the flesh. The looks and playability are great in my personal opinion. However the piano sound is just crap. I have the px-s3000 and the px-s7000 sounds no better piano wise. Casio are way behind on their piano samples for piano. As you mentioned, your used to hearing othe brand piano samples which are much better. I agree, they are far better. Casio has designed a very modern great looking portable piano. Stylish, the action is OK for a short key length, but the entire creation is let down by rubbish piano samples. I would not pay the excessive price for the 7000 when there are cheaper brands giving better piano sounds and equal key action. Sorry Casio but you need to get your act together on the piano samples, they just dont cut it. Look at some blind test reviews from some pro players of different keyboards and they all say the Casio piano tones are least favourite.
There are 3 primary premium grand piano samples on here, which each have their own variants of brighter and mellow, alongside countless other Piano samples. Have you tried them all, particularly the 3 premium piano sounds? I have heard people say they are superior to the Yamaha sample on the aging P515, which of course is subjective. How do you rate the additional core sounds, like Guitars and so on, outside of the general midi tones also included?
It looks real sweet, though I wish that they leaned more into the wooden tones with the controls and knobs just to match the legs.

Wow, that piano is so damn gorgeous. I literally want to buy it just because yellow is my favorite color, but idk if I can justify it lol
It’s BREATHABLE right?
Yellow is my favorite color as well... I'm purchasing one at the end of this month. Due to its aesthetics I managed to convince the wife.
Any way you can monitor an external midi module through the speakers? the mic in is mono right?
Don’t remember! And I don’t have it any longer as my trial period with it ended!
