Thanks for posting these. They are awesome and show clearly how Arnel (& Deen) made a huge difference in “bringing the magic back” to this incredible band! I was fortunate to see them in 2011… I had watched videos with Arnel and the band since he came in and thought “He CAN’T be THIS good!”… When I saw him, I expected to be disappointed because one has to compare him to Perry… I was SO BLOWN AWAY. His voice was HUGE, incredible stage presence, and he really respected singing the “hits” 98% just like the original recording and has ZERO problems hitting all the notes with ease. And have to add that I am so happy that I saw them on this tour. It was a rare one in that they actually played about 6 songs off of their latest album Eclipse which I thought was their most rocking yet melodic album ever…. Casual Journey fans only wanted the old sappy stuff…. They have unfortunately been running away from pretty much all of their great songs recorded with Arnel since. They even did their latest 2023 tour for Freedom and didn’t even play any songs off of it or any other fantastic album with Arnel. SO NOW they are relegated to just another “greatest hits band” on their way out…SAD.
