Is having one copy only of Makiatto worth it? Or is she only worth it if you have her plus one dupe? I want to save for Klukai and a dupe of her if it's needed.
V1 Maki is insane! Better wait before the banner ends and wait for the next character banner update before pulling. But I think Klukai's banner will be released once ch 9 is open, as far as I know global didn't follow CNs roadmap, either we wait for 2-3months or they give us a sucker punch and release her next
No save your tickets/cubes. Better DPS will come out. Getting a dupe for Makiotto will just make it slightly easier in combat. For overall F2P status it is NOT worth it trust me.
You absolutely do not need the second copy, just make sure you give her the right accessories so you bring her to 60 Crit rate so she goes to 100% thanks to her 40% bonus in her passive. She almost one shot every enemy that is not a boss and doesn't have a shield (cover point) or whatever. The second copy is not worth it even if you have enough pulls to get her again, so just save for the next banner in case Klukai or another character that you really like comes out!
I'm pretty close to dropping it with all these blatantly greedy dual banners. Haven't bought anything and I don't intend to with how blatantly user antagonistic it is.

idk, i had luck as a f2p, got 2 Suomi on the pulls but for some reason the game did not get me. The story is ok but it is cut off cuse it references the first game quite a bit and it means nothing to me. Characters are quite forgettable and either seem op or meh. Idk, maybe because i did not play the previous game and I already like Nikke, this feels to me like a copy (i know it is not). It is just, i was first exposed to Nikke.
Yeah I am struggling too,I have V2 Suomi V1 Makkiato but still pushing my self to fight those weekly battles because they kinda all the same except Boss! And story would be good but that weird pacing just throwing me off because 1 minute battle then 15 minutes struggling by reading is too much for me... I did read up to chapter 5 and just couldn't go further unfortunately😞

For me, i can do without the visual part of the dormitory if i can interact more with the characters, worry is the balance of the characters, and the way the story is presented, way too many long battles in events just to see the story. Didn't even do the last event cuse it seemed like a chore, so i stopped playing. On the other hand, I had a blast with Rapi's event in Nikke.
@@drygon9324 honestly, the events in this game are so easy that saying, "they felt like a chore", is more of an admission of your own laziness. Having played both this and Nikke, level of commitment needed to play daily's in GFL2 is much less. Also the music doesn't blow.
So, there's an oath system in the original game, which is very heavily plays itself up as a marriage (you enter a ruined church, wedding music and bells play, you give her a ring, she makes a statement how she's never gonna leave your side). So the devs clearly know what crowd they're attracting. And then there's Type 95 (Daiyan) - a very popular T-Doll on CN server, which also kinda represents chinese pride (Like Zhongli in genshin ig (don't quote me on that, I think I heard something like that about her)) And so, a very popular doll in CN, Daiyan, was speaking warmly of some other male npc named Raymond, while not mentioning commander (to whom she promised to follow in his footsteps towards their future together in her OATH scene). And so it begun. NTR threads, comments on the appstore, etc. MICA quickly apologized and replaced the NPC with a female one. But it didn't end there. Later they've added a small bracelet (or a pendant) that had a lighting on it, which in chinese abbreviated to the name of the same male npc. And so "Raymond strikes again". Some apologies later and a complete rewrite... And we're here. Oh, also she gave a weird gift on valentines ( a toothbrush), so there was a lot of reactions to that, but people were mostly joking about it at that point. Well, there was also a book controversy. Dolls had books themed around slavery and female oppression, hinting that commanders are basically slavers and want to oppress women, I guess? They all happened at the same time and there was also a few other things that escaped my mind, since it was a year ago, but that's the gist of it. Rogue employee or a schizo fanbase? Take your pick. Pretty sure it's the former, though. Because after YZ got back to gfl2 (he was busy with gfl1 at the moment iirc) and restructured the writing team, the overall story quality has increased. (also, solving the NTR drama would've pretty easy, but the previous writers just had to insert subtle jabs against the players every rewrite, triggering the new wave each time.) Even if you think it's the latter, it's hard to blame CN peepos, considering how rocky and "experimental" the CN launch was. They didn't have a lot of gamemodes we got on start and MICA was experimenting with gems income, so I'm sure most of them already were unhappy. So "taking away" the only thing tethering them to the IP was a final straw. I mean, if you know your fanbase is very attached to the characters in your game and this is a very popular one, you'd think they'd proceed more carefully with her? Overall, I'm glad it's all over and that we got a fixed game for our release in all aspects. After talking to some CN players, their launch felt more like beta/early access. Maybe with the success of global, cn version will get some revitalization too. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!
If GFL2 had Skin Battlepasses like Nikke does, I would dump money into GFL. But $15+ skins that look good but I get nothing beyond that, is just a bad investment imo.
I'd rather they put new animations on their skins than have the extra rewards and not make it a gacha one. I almost wanna say Nikke could never when I saw GFL 2 skins ngl.
Now that I've played pretty hard for a week, I'm realizing how much this game has in common with traditional MMOs. - Story is like the MMO story, usually easier, good as a tutorial on basic functions of the game and game lore. - Supply missions are kind of like "dungeons" in that they give unique rewards needed to level and outfit your character. - Combat simulations are like other game modes that give extra rewards for outfitting and leveling your character. - Limited time events are like MMO festival events. There are some differences, obviously. Instead of a outfitting a single character to play and then joining a party with others, you are responsible for all the party characters. - It's quick to level early on, but you will hit a wall at some point, like with MMOs, where you need to "grind" the "dungeons" and other game modes to equip and level your characters to max. - And, finally, just like MMOs, they sell a lot of purely cosmetic items.

I’ve bought skins in many different games worth way more multiple times. Warframe TFD Div2 BDO…..I’d say the monetization is pretty tame
You can buy a reasonable amount of coins ($30-50 worth) and you can use the leftover coins for pulls, stamina, and some bundles
